After all... They've been such a defiant one. They had always fought back against it all. The torture, the chains and ropes, the insults and taunts. They've tried to be brave and confident and strong... but had failed. They've always have felt it was so humiliating to beg, but... it was the one thing that could make the pain go away or stop it from happening at all.
They've learned through trial and error how to have that perfect combination of pathetic whining, self degradation and stammering their words with that sweet fearful tremble in their voice. They've learned how to sink to their knees, how to keep their head low, how to avoid eye contact and when to make eye contact. They learned when to flinch away and when to keep still. They've learned it all so well. And now, with a body covered with marks of the times of lessons and learning, it didn't matter how pathetic they seemed, how humiliating it was. It was a small chance to avoid pain and they'd take it as they couldn't take much more. Broken at last.

Man, I’m a sucker for any whump involving a belt. It’s one of my favourite object in a whump context.
Whumper bringing a belt down across whumpee’s back, hands, legs, feet, or what have you.
If they’re feeling particularly brutal, whumper hitting whumpee with the buckle as well.
A belt being wrapped around whumpee’s neck and pulled tight, choking them.
Alternatively, belt wrapped around whumpee’s neck and used like a leash.
Belts used to bind whumpee’s wrists and ankles.
Whumpee breaking down and starting to apologize or beg whenever someone takes off their belt (be it caretaker or whumper) because they think they’re going to be hit.
Overlapping bruises in the shape of a belt buckle.
Swollen red welts in a criss-cross pattern.
A belt being put in whumpee’s mouth as a gag.
Alternatively, a belt being put in whumpee’s mouth for them to bite down on as their wounds are treated.
Belts being used as tourniquets or to hold a splint in place.
Belts used to strap whumpee to a table, chair, etc.
A belt pulled ever tighter around any body part, bruising, bursting blood vessels, maybe even cracking bone at some point.
Whumpee who ends up hating the feel of leather and the sound of jangling metal.
This hatred extending as far as anything with a strap and buckle, such as a watch, bag, saddle, etc.

hi whump community let me tell you about a drug called datura!! because boy is it a doozy.
datura is a deliriant, which means it is a hallucinogenic drug capable of causing serious and often terrifying delusions and hallucinations that are literally indistinguishable from reality in the user’s mind.
It is poisonous and part of the nightshade family, and the dosage used to get high off of it is actually very close to the lethal dose. it is also not only entirely legal in most places but also very accessible. it’s grown as a house plant, actually. most people who trip off of it only do it once because of how awful of an experience it is. also trips last like a long time (anywhere from 12 hours to 3 days if i remember correctly?)
the hallucinations that come with this drug are incredibly horrifying, making it literal nightmare fuel. also the more long term effects from it can include permanent psychosis and lingering delusions. fun stuff.
common hallucination experiences from this drug include the following:
- heavy gore
- seeing corpses
- feeling like you’ve been transported to an alternate dimension (hell)
- seeing people or entities you know (but a little fucked up)
- parasites and bugs
- feeling as though your organs are falling out of your body
- shadows in the back of your vision
- smoking phantom cigarettes or eating phantom food (phantom in the sense that they aren’t really there)
- torture scenarios
all in all, i think it’s a rlly interesting thing that can definitely be used in whump. like imagine a whumper lacing someone’s tea with that. the whumpee wouldn’t even be aware that something was done to them due to the fact that they physically cannot tell the difference between delusion and reality. real fun stuff. probably need an immortal whumpee though just cuz if someone takes this there’s a high chance of them getting hospitalized.

Not being able to tell if they're awake or not
Just sleep paralysis in general
Waking up from a nightmare convinced they're still in whumper's clutches
Having a nightmare where caretaker is hurting them and not wanting to explain why they're so skittish around them all of a sudden

I would like to make something cute like a bio, but maybe other day (just wanted to share my boyo)
My main Whumpee, Émile Finch. A biology professor who offered shelter to an angelic creature, hence his arrest. A person of interest to the Research Center (RC): not many humans are lucky enough to see the behavior of an angel firsthand, or live to tell about it. Currently he is serving sentence in the RC as Support personel with strict vigilance.
Ironically, he tried to apply for a position at the RC as junior researcher when he was in his early 20s. It was considered that he could not follow the instructions given by senior staff and that he was wasting resources such as anesthesia on many of the test subjects, so he was considered not applicable for the position.
He is a person who tries to keep a cool head and is also somewhat reserved. He often tries to be cordial and respectful and be a good role model for other people. Although he is something of a prankster thanks to the influence of his sister. They used to watch a lot of comedy movies in his childhood; which were then recreated as a game.
