So, I was in the line at Sephora and you know how they have those tempting bins all around you with products that you NEED but actually dont? Yeah, imagine me…standing there…so tempted….ANYWAYS, I noticed this lipbalm right in front me. I thought…Oh! I heard such good reviews about this product. I should definitely try it!
Little did I know…
This product is horrible. Why does it have 5 stars on Sephora…why?! Number one, it costs $7.50. It’s not so much the price I’m concerned about…its the REASON why it is priced that much. I’ve had lip balms worth $2 work BETTER than this!
It’s glorified Petroleum Jelly basically. Look at the ingredients…! Oh, how could I be so foolish? It smells great (like freshly bloomed roses), but just doesn’t sink into the lips. But why would it? Petroleum Jelly essentially acts as a barrier to lock in moisture and in all my experiences of using Petrolatum products, I’ve always had to reapply until I got so tired of it that I had to purchase a new miracle product.
I’m not sure if it’s just me that has this experience with Petroleum…maybe! But if this has happened to you, comment below on your experience or any tips and tricks that may allow it absorb better.

Nars is rolling out with their new line featuring Guy Bourdin's work of arts.
I decided to snapchat the account 'Narsissist,' to check out the new makeup.These are part of the new collection. I didn't get to view the rest of the products for too long because the snapchats only lasted for one second. I tried to screenshoot the pictures but the snapchat was too fast. Fresh Rose Face Mask

So, I just tried out the Fresh Rose Face Mask. I expected more from it, to be honest, considering the price of it $63+tax. Here's my review on it:
My Skin Type: Dry/Normal, Oily T-Zone
CLAIMS: It has rose water in it which hydrates the skin--so it must be perfect for those with dry skin. (so hence why I needed to try it!)
First off, it is a gel based mask so it instantly cools down the skin. The scent of it was of roses, which was nice. I left it on for 10 minutes and cleaned up a few things in my room.
When I washed it off, my skin felt normal, nice and clean. There was nothing special that happened. I felt like it was a regular cleanser, like my Neutrogena Deep Clean facial cleanser. My skin was not as soft as I thought it would be.
I give this facial mask a 6/10 rating. Sorry Fresh, better luck next time I guess? :)
