How good of a grandpa would madara be?
Madara is a tough parent, but he is a good person deep inside.
He's all about tough love, and expresses with his actions, but he is a huge snob with his words.
He is the type that would place a plate of fruits for Obito after a quarrel, and Obito would begrudgingly eat it - and that's how they show that they're okay with each other.
Madara's prep talks would be mixed with insults XD for example:
"You must learn the art of aiming your shuriken at a quick glance. You look like you're having a stroke when you throw it, and that is very disgraceful."
Obito's personality clashes with Madara's 90% of the time, but that does not mean he doesn't listen and learn from him.
Sometimes Madara forces him to do things and Obito would think he is being dragged around, but he then realizes that what Madara was teaching him is for his own good, because Madara knows best (kinda lmao).
Madara knows that Obito struggles so much, and that is why he focuses on him and is very strict with him. But when Madara hears someone talking shit about Obito or making fun of him, he wouldn't hesitate to threaten or shut them up, and sometimes all it takes is a glare, because he knows Obito's true potential all too well.
Despite their chaotic relationship, they respect and care about each other.

One day kakashi visited obito’s new house, spotting on a long black haired woman smoking in front of the porch wearing slippers. Kks: shocked* when did that lad move on from Rin??? Then this black long haired woman suddenly threw off the cig n rushing into the door with a rod. Kks immediately jumped in to stop them, dragging bruised obito out n asking: why you new girl is such a badass? Obito replied: what’s wrong with you that’s my fkn grandpa!!
