I need vulture culture practitioners in Ontario!!!
As some of you guys know, I’m currently in school for documentary film. A large portion of that involves actually making my first film (ahhhh) under supervision from my mentor. I’ve decided that film is going to be about vulture culture.
I’m still in the early research & development stages at the moment! Planning for shooting to take place in spring/summer 2024.
I’m looking for participants who would be willing to do interviews, show me their collections, their workspaces (yes, i want to smell the maceration soup), and take me along on any vulture activities.

No, I am not like Dahmer. That dumbass cleaned his skulls with bleach whereas I know to clean them with hydrogen peroxide
#I'm always offended when people compare us to him#but actually learning about him.. OOF I kinda get it. he picked up roadkill and articulated skeletons he found and made wet specimens#I assumed he just tortured and killed animals#he was like. aroused by rooting around in their guts and shit. so definitely not an accurate comparison#but still a big oof moment for me#also jesus this guy was a monster

Found a perfect muntjac buck by the side of a country road but I had no space/tools. I moved him away from the road into some bushes so the buzzards, ravens and foxes could eat safely and I could return at a later date. 7 months later I returned and luckily found all of this! I need to put more time aside for skulls again so looking forward to cleaning him up.

Bryan came home with this beautiful mama raccoon found by the roadside.
She is now up on a hillside giving sustenance to the local carrion insects and scavengers.
