Most often time I ignore taking care of my mental health, leaving a huge void that gets darker by succession...
why do I do that?
because I run, every time that I must face my feelings ..
I use distraction and the mount of excuses of pointless responsibilities to avoid the elephant in the room ( my heart and mind) until sleep claims the right to my eyes and takes me from what I can't avoid any longer...
I am a very genuine, good-hearted, hard-working, and compassionate individual...
But, it is not ok to drag my soul to the bottom and send it souring..
It is not ok to degrade my emotion, by using underhanded habits that result in the fruition of negative emotions such as regret, loathing, and undeserving, but mostly guilt...
why? why? why?
just to avoid the confrontation and the deep sorrow within the walls of my heart and the recess of my mind ..
what we basically don't realize is that sometimes we have no choice but to rip the band-aid and get it over with and over...
because , everything shall pass
because , everything shall be alright
because, everything shall prosper
all it needs is a push, some courage, and a tone of determination...
we are human beings, no matter how stubborn and tenacious we are, we kneel before what is storming inside us...
we say and believe that people have no power or impact on what they say or do to us, or precisely, no one can make us feel inferior if we don't let them.
Then why is it easy to give that whip to whip our backs with, therefore it is met with the counter effect of punching your existence into a deep, dark and sad hole.

not
worth
it
just remember, life is too short, and what goes by shall never return, whether it was time, youth, or energy.

This how to transform negative emotions :
1- Identify: get to know the feeling that are inhibiting you .
2- Challenge: question yourself , why are you feeling like this and what is the source of those negative feelings.
3-Understand: appreciating the deep meaning behind the emotion.
4-Replace: Theses disempowering thoughts must be replaced by empowering ones. ( I will call it displacing )
5-Visualize: imagine yourself handling the emotion you are currently feeling in the future.
