What I'm going to say might be a bit lame but I didn't really have anything specific in my mind when I went on to draw the Lamb's hair. I just took a look at that thang:

And I went "hey what if hair tuft....... but E X P A N D E D":

I usually start with these three, biggest fluffs on top of their head and then kinda work the way around it. The only consistent things on my Lamb's head is the tuft and then these "bangs" around their cheeks, the rest is kind of a "well I feel like putting another Round Shape here" and if it works, it works.

I'm by no means a character designer, I just like them fluffy :) don't be afraid of finding what shapes work for your Lamb! You like them sharp? Make them sharp! Short wool, long wool? It's all up to you!

#idk if it's helpful or not because i literally had Zero Thought when i went on with designing them bahah #i just took the og and slapped the biggest fluff on their head because frankly they deserve it #but i guess if you're unsure on how to draw them you can try looking at other people's lambs to see what makes them unique!!#rule number one is to have fun and to remember that every lamb is a good lamb #they're just lambing around #buefried

I have cracked and committed to making him an oriental shorthair, mainly for my Lamb to be able to throw him thru their shoulder and skitter away with him, while he kicks and screams.
