Ed’s smile widened at the sight of the illustrations, his eyes filled with wonder as he leaned closer.

“Wow, I love dragons!”

He grins and takes it, opening to a page he knew to be filled with pictures.

“I’d think you may enjoy this, Ed. It’s about mythological beings and where they are located. Purely fictional, I assure you, but look at these illustrations. See? There’s a dragon!”

Somehow, the arrow had bounced off his face and stuck to the ceiling. He stared at it for a few moments before looking back at his little sister.

“I think you missed Sarah.”

“Oh, I know you can, big brother,” Sarah said before skipping a few yards away and picking up the bow.

With little delay she grabbed a toy arrow and began to take aim at the apple. Just before releasing the string, though, her hand slipped, and the arrow went off course. But no matter–they only had suction cups instead of points.

They couldn’t hurt that much.
