I wanted to show this picture because I wanted to say something that I realized today. I realized that very few people understand exactly how many people there are in the world.
I think when people visualize "Ten billion people" something like the above picture comes to mind.
That is roughly 100,000 people.
If you multiply that by 10, you have one million people.
Which then needs to be multiplied by another thousand to be one billion, which then needs to be multiplied by another ten to be ten billion.
"Jay what's your point?"
My point is, look at that picture there of 100,000.
Do you think, in your lifetime, or even in you and 60,000 friends' lifetime, that you can convince all 100,000 of them that your opinion is correct and their opinion is wrong?
If the answer is "Yes" you're delusional. No you can't.
Maybe 6 people in that crowd would listen and the rest would probably be yelling at you to fuck off.
Now try to imagine that you and 60,000 friends are trying to convince not 100,000, not 1mil, not 1bil, but 10billion people on this planet to all have the same opinion as you.
I hate to be a nihilist, but just stop.
You are wasting your time. It will result in nothing.
You will die unsatisfied with your actions in life.
You will die mad.
Take a step back, go find a hobby you like, find 3-5 people who agree with your opinions or otherwise make you comfortable, and enjoy your life on this earth.

15 years ago it was impressive and noteworthy for a person to say "I don't smoke/drink/do drugs"
I said that then.
Still say that.
Nowadays, I feel the same energy and hate that I even have to proudly say "I don't sext minors or have Discord conversations with minors at all"

Obviously it’s a little late/delayed to ask this, but how does it feel to be out of unmanageable debt? From what little viewing of your posts I’ve seen, you seem happier. No less cynical, but still happy.
The "No less cynical" made me laugh really hard. I'm actually working on dropping that from my personality. I don't wanna hate stuff anymore.
You're dead right! I'm significantly happier. It's refreshing.
I get to just kinda take life as it comes now, my mood's gotten a lot better in general, and I've been able to focus on things like my health, my social life, and even on the most ambitious project of my entire life, a full blown video game made without any coworkers.
I've been living healthier, I've been exercising more, I've been meeting new people, talking, roleplaying, working, improving my quality of life around the house, spending time with my mom, watching TV shows I never got around to watching, and most importantly: Avoiding politics.
So, tldr: Life's just better when you don't have debt. I'm getting happier and healthier by the day and before you know it I won't even be cynical anymore.
Though don't expect me to stop flipping tables about how terrible modern technology is.

I just had someone try to own me by telling me they're a pedophile.
I'm being completely genuine.
They came along trying to insult me and their comment was literally telling me that they like pedo/loli/cub art.
I've showed the ask to like 15 people and all of them are like
"Wait so his insult towards you is admitting he likes pedo shit? Wtf how is this supposed to own you?"
And I'm like "I DON'T KNOW"
(Summarized: "You should draw cub art, it's the only thing you'd be good at because you're not good at any other art")

I have an irrational fear (actually no start over)
I have a completely rational fear of meeting new people, especially artists. I say it's completely rational because I have, literally over 10 times now, drawn fan art for an artist and showed it to them, only for them to get angry and tell me to fuck off and call me every single buzzword under the fucking sun.
I'm gonna be real, I don't get it.
I don't get how a person who has literally never met me, no no not just me, anyone.
A person who has never met someone, ever, meets that person for the first time, and that person literally hands them a gift and does something nice. A little "I really like your art and I wanted to draw one of your characters" or "I was inspired by one of your characters to make one of my own that's similar" or "Your art inspired me to learn how to make art that's somewhat similar in style" or something.
And the artist, never EVER having talked to this stranger literally ever, has already pre-built an unfathomable hatred for them.
How?
Like, how is that even possible?
How could your literal only interaction with someone, literally ever, LITERALLY EVER, be "They walked up to me, said I'm a huge inspiration to them, and handed me gift art" and your response is "And I told them to go fuck themselves and then made multiple tweets/posts about how much of a shithead they are."
And yet those people
Those artists who have done that to me
Are extremely popular and extremely beloved
And I'm sitting over here like "OKAY FUCKING REALLY"
"WHAT DID I FUCKING DO???"
