this is super random but i just wanted to thank you for mentioning how ableist the og ticci toby story is, lmao,,,

I'm sure the og creator wasn't intending it and stuff, and i am the toby #1 fan but it feels really yucky the way that they like, called him tragic for having these disorders in the first place if i recall? which is sorta, ehh.... correct me if i'm wrong but a lot of the og creepypastas and especially toby's imo never feel very pro-recovery to me. They portray characters as being their disorders rather than these disorders being faucets of them. Like. idk.

Absolutely man, I was diagnosed with ASPD at an early age, and because of it my love for the fandoms writing has definitely been impacted and turned into disdain. I still love these characters but yeah its pretty obvious a lot of the writers care more about making their DC villain lookalikes into these messed up portrayal of mental illness as a way to say "I cant actually write horror so oh no, mental illness is the monster". I adore creepypasta characters but yeah its pretty crap how the fannon and a large chunk of the fandom are more interested in this than learning to write genuine mental illness. Stay wicked, and thanks for the kind words dude!
