Tired/sleepy prompts please!
Here we go :)
Tired/sleepy prompts
A and B huddling on the couch together under a fluffy blanket after a long day, just enjoying the shared warmth and closeness.
A loves to watch B sleep since that's the only time B's features aren't shadowed by worries.
B refusing to get up in the morning because the sheets are so soft and A is too warm to let go.
A and B have to share a bed for a reason. During the night, A realises B rolled over to them and is mumbling how much they like A.
B knows A has trouble sleeping lately and decides to tell them a story to hopefully lull them to sleep.
Lazy morning cuddles when neither of them has to get up yet.
B coming home after a hard day at work and curling on A's lap.
A and B falling asleep in the blanket fort they built.
I hope these helped :) Have a great day!

Woes of saints
I watch, I wait, I stand by to contemplate. The life I have lived, The stories my death will sure create. Crumpled paper and bitter ties, will I give up these holy lies. Books golden at the edge, words on pages softly turn at my dread. fingers itching to touch in reverence, should I seek its freeing clemence. Fate is neither cruel nor kind, the strings they weave and cut always in due time. King and begger both alike, gold means nothing when lady fate takes your life. Perhaps I'll see that lonely maid, when decades pass and debts repaid. Will she weep and cut me loose, will i fall through heavens noose.

Types of Opening Scenes for Your Novel
Here are a handful of ways to open the very first scene in your book! There are plenty more to explore, but these are a set of very tried and true methods.
Autobiographic - your protagonist starts the book reflecting or talking about a past event. They’re looking back in time and sharing an important piece of information with the reader.
In trouble/conflict - a problem has arisen for the protagonist and a sense of urgency is established. This can be an intense conflict like a chase scene or a puzzling problem.
Mysterious opening - the reader is introduced to something peculiar (a fantasy location, unique magic, a cloaked figure, etc.) that raises questions in their mind. Their curiosity will keep them reading.
Scene-setting - the most common opening where you focus on introducing the setting and the characters in it before anything else.
The questioner - the protagonist is questioning something: “Who invited the guy in the trench coat covered in red?”
Beginning with a thought - the novel is started with a philosophical quote or meaningful thought from the protagonist. “What is living worth if she’s not doing it with me?”
Intriguing dialogue - the book starts with interesting dialogue that captures the attention of the reader.
Mood establisher - the novel opens with a deliberate mood that signifies to the reader what they should expect from the story. Ex. a spooky story may open with eerie words and a dark atmosphere.

A Bare Bones Guide to Outlining a Fantasy Novel in Three Acts
If you're trying to write a fantasy novel and you're feeling overwhelmed by the process, try to break down your story into three acts as follows...
Act 1
Introduce the status quo - setting, main character, and any struggles they currently face
Create an inciting incident
Show your character's hesitancy to welcome change
Have your character take a chance and start their journey
Act 2
Introduce friends and mentors
Include trials and obstacles
Let your character have a mini success
Have your character doubt themselves regardless of their success
Act 3
Increase tension with more obstacles and rising action
The climactic high point - a.k.a. the final showdown
Show the aftermath and what your character has overcome/sacrificed in order to succeed

Feelings Wheel
Tumblr media
This is the feelings wheel by Geoffrey Roberts, shown to me by my therapist. My initial thought was, "what amazing synonyms to use for diverse emotional vocabulary!"
More than that, this wheel is great for understanding your characters inner motivations and reactions to situations. For example, if a character constantly feels helpless, then their overarching characteristics will be that they are fearful.
Characters who are less emotionally aware may use words and act in the inner most circle. Those much more aware of their emotions may describe themselves or express and use words from the outer most circle.
Hopefully you guys find this as helpful as I did! Let me know down in the comments.
Happy Writing!

Your small, otherwise unimpressive, kingdom is suddenly one of the strongest powers in the land. This is due to the sole reason that, unlike other rulers, you’re happy to work with the local orcs, goblins, dragons, and several other races that are usually attacked on sight.
