Kinda wanna do another book drive; I adore all of yall that sent me books the last time, but now that I’m teaching upper elementary (3-5) and not pre K all the books I have are distinctly below their reading level. I’d love to get some more advanced picture books with lovely illustrations that the kids can enjoy. I couldn’t get lgbt inclusive books like last time tho, back then I was in a private school and now I’m public, and in texas public schooling with 8 y/os, books abt gender and sexuality would NEVER fly, and I feel like the only reason ppl bought me books on here was bc they were queer books

i really like this voice trainer and really want to go, but each session is $70 for 30 minutes or $120 for a 60 minute one, and a teacher's salary is not enough to cover that for 6 months lmao. i love my pre-k kiddos but there is no way I can afford my bills, therapy, meds, and loans, testosterone AND voice training on top of that.

seen a couple of mlm blogs pop up recently run by 14/15/16 yos who are making their age public so guys, i really need you to know i am not coming from a patronizing place when i say: do not put your age on the internet. do not put your real name, use an alias. and don't assume that because the adults here are also queer and trans and love men that we on this part of tumblr have your best interest at heart, because plenty dont. internet safety sounds stupid until it's too late. take care of yourselves, yall, bc other people cant be trusted to do so

Support your friends who binge. Don’t make assumptions. Do research and watch out for fatphobia and diet culture centered rhetoric. Respect us, regardless on how or why or when we do or do not recover. Show us love, because god knows very few people do

my bill for my next class came in and :| it's not great. 800$ just for that, which means next to nothing left for my other college loan bills (don't go back to school yall), car, meds... and work is cutting hours, went from 40 two weeks ago to 23 this week. and then there's the 500$ payment I owe for the 10k vet bill I'm still struggling to pay off.... so long voice training funds. fun.

Hey everyone! In all the bad news going on right now, here's some good news! I'm scheduled for top surgery! I'm well aware that there's so many other more important things to donate to right now, which is why any funds I don't end up using to pay for the surgery costs will go towards ZaKa, a humanitarian organization that's been working hard to recover and identify the bodies of victims of war and all mass casualty events. This cause is really important to me, which is why the funds will go there.
