Tickle Mimic
A monster concept:
Anyone who knows anything about fantasy settings, especially DND, knows about mimics. They're monsters disguised as seemingly harmless objects that lie in wait for an unsuspecting victim to interact with them. Probably the most classic, well-known example is the mimic disguised as a treasure chest that tries to eat you if you open it.
So picture this:
You're exploring a remote dungeon with a small party, and you find a chest. You rush ahead to open it, and (you guessed it!) it's a mimic. You're promptly grabbed and pulled inside, the lid closing shut behind you. The rest of your party doesn't even have time to react. They also surmise that this mimic is definitely too tough to try fighting it, so they take a moment to mourn your tragic death before continuing on their way.
What they don't realize is, you're not dead. Turns out, this is a very rare mimic that does not digest its victims. Its "stomach" is lined with countless tendrils that mercilessly tickle you for as long as you remain inside of it, adapting very quickly to your particular ticklish spots.
They also don't know that it's a relatively weak monster when it's full. They could have gotten you out very easily, but why would they think to try? They can't hear your screams of laughter from inside the chest, and they're very sure that they just witnessed you being eaten. Why would they try to rescue someone they have no reason to think might still be alive?
So they leave, shocked and saddened by your untimely demise; and in doing so, they accidentally doom you to an entirely different, but perhaps just as terrible, fate. Hope you can handle this tickling hell until more adventurers happen to pass by this particular (slightly hidden) room in this particular dungeon!

Your New Work Watch
Summary: Skitters is getting restless on a day where you seem to be doing nothing but work. He needs some fun, and he can tell that you're depriving yourself of a much needed break, so he decides to help.
Word Count: 466
Note: Found myself in the perfect storm of ler mood and inspiration this morning and wrote up this little Skitters fic. This is the Skitters energy I've been needing lately, and a good reminder to take a break when you need one, you deserve a rest now and then 💜

It's been an insanely busy day, you've spread yourself thin working on a project that seems to be taking forever to finish, and it's been a while since you've let yourself have a break. Skitters has been waiting to play with you, but also he's felt bad that you seem so stressed.
You look down to the increasingly impatient bot boy. "Sorry buddy, I can't take a break yet, I still have so much I have to do." What follows is a long robotic whine, but you go to return to work anyways. He pouts for a moment, flopping on the ground dramatically, but then he has an idea.
Back at your cluttered desk, you're about to continue, when suddenly you feel Skitters on your shoulder. He hops down and latches onto the wrist of your dominant hand, four of his legs wrapped around it, securing him snugly. His back two legs however extend and snake their way up your arm and into your sleeve to who knows where. A mildly frustrated sigh passes your lips.
"Skitters, what's this? What are you doing?"
He doesn't make a noise.
"Buddy, I told you I don’t have time to play, get off." You shake your arm in a lazy attempt to loosen his grip, but he holds tight and refuses to reply, not a single beep.
"Ugh, fine, stay there all you want. I'll just keep working." The next thing you need to continue is right there on your desk in front of you, but just as you reach to pick it up you feel a poking at your sides. Your hand instinctively retracts, and the poking stops. After a moment you process that it was Skitters' back two legs. A second attempt to reach out to your desk leads to a similar result, but this time you feel a vibration under your arms, causing you to knock over a few things.
You keep trying to grab things so you can continue your work, but every attempt is seen by Skitters and leads to more pokes and vibrations. Even grabbing something as simple as a pen has you feeling feathers brushing your sides. Soon you're a squirming giggling mess in your chair, refusing to let go of one of your papers, Skitters refusing to stop until you do. Eventually the lee mood takes over and you give in, dropping the paper.
After a few seconds of composing yourself, you tap Skitters so he'll turn around to look at you. "Okay, you win, you little dork. I guess I do need a break, honestly I am exhausted. Think you could keep helping me relax?" Skitters looks pleased, retracting his back legs and hopping onto your belly in a cuddly tickly hug, happy he could finally get through to you.

Regular, normal tickles between regular, normal humans is good fun and all. But... Characters or monsters with wings or multiple arms (or both!!) That LOVE to tickle others (especially humans) OR are extremely ticklish themselves?? (Or both! Again!) That's the GOOD SHIT!!

I love love LOVE the idea of like,...monster lers (monstlers aha) using their non-human limbs to tickle a human with, or just use them as tools (like pinning a lee down with wings or somethin). It’s suuuch a cute thing to imagine, and is a whole new experience for that lee ahshsjs
AND ANS Monsters who have those extra limbs and art TICKLISH ON THEM??? HELLO? GOLDEN. Like, imagine a monster with wings who’s ticklish in the wing pits or on the webbing, a monster who has a tail that will slap the floor and wiggle when u tickle it, a monster with MASSIVE claws but the palm of their claws are ticklish and make them chitter out a laugh,,,omg
