I spend all day condescending to people who think my fav show is lame so obviously I’m more qualified than those entitled Palestinians who told me to stop watching my comfort show all because the lead actor posted on their instagram ‘death to all Palestinians’ or in other words, just because they are Jewish.

Jennifer's story is a tragedy. It's literally a metaphor for sexual assault. She's taken and transformed against her will into a monster that kills people, even innocents who haven't done anything to her or anyone she cares about.
She's not some "divine feminine girl boss" to idolize and emulate, she's a child. A scared young woman who sexualized herself for society, making most people (including those of us in the fandom) forget just how young she is. Jennifer was 17. Read that again. 17.
She was tricked into going with Low Shoulder because she was in shock. She had just escaped from a fire, and wasn't fully in her right mind. They tried to kill her- and pretty much succeeded. She's a 17-year-old victim of a terrible, heinous crime, and she only survived because of the demon that possessed her.
Do you think she was scared at first? That what she had become horrified some small part of her that was still Jennifer? Before she was possessed, Jennifer was just a teenage girl, after all. Put yourself in her shoes and imagine having to live like that. Wouldn't that just be horrible?
If anything, Needy is the one who should be the "girlboss", since she's the one who broke out of prison and avenged Jennifer's murder.
Jennifer Check isn't a girlboss, and I'm honestly really sick of that take. She was a child in a really bad situation, and what she became was neither her choice nor her fault.

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
