Working with Nala Se again wasn't that bad. She was still patient with her and caring in her own way. It was interesting to talk with Emery; Omega had no idea that in addition to her brothers, she also had a sister. She had her own room, quite spacious and with a window to the street. But none of this could change the fact that Omega was a hostage here. She was kidnapped only to force Nala Se to work for the empire and conduct some experiments on clones. Surely it was something terrible, otherwise why would the empire need it.
She had never felt so alone. She lost Tech and was separated from Hunter and Wrecker. She missed them and Echo deeply. Perhaps they will be able to find her? But how long will they search? She was frightened by the thought that they would be apart for many months.
But there was still something good about the fact that she was here. Crosshair was here. He looked depressed and broken, but he was here and she had a chance to talk to him. Only he can understand her pain and share Tech's mourning with her. He probably still didnβt know about his death.
Finally freed from supervision, she made her way to his cell. Fortunately, he was not asleep yet.

There were tears in her eyes. Had he really upset her that much? Or is it all her injuries? Either way, he didn't need to let her know he saw it. In any case, they will have to talk about a lot, but it is better to leave at least something outside this circle.
"Of course I'll stay with you"
He sat down by her bed, fighting the urge to take her hand. Shouldn't have done this. She is weak, she is on drugs and should not be taken advantage of. He knew this unpleasant state when you are injured and just want to make you feel better.
"Try to sleep. You'll see, you'll feel better when you wake up."
'Sitting at your bedside' ... later on, or indeed right now, she was going to blame the drugs on the way those words clenched in her chest, stung the corners of her eyes. Dammit, she was absolutely not going to cry! She was not going to be as weak as she felt.
She was also not going to meet Howzer's eyes if she could help it; he still looked at her like she was 'just a civilian' and he was somehow responsible for her being where she was. They were going to have to have a chat about that, along with ... a bunch of other stuff that was important but had slipped her sedated mind.
All she knew was that she didn't want to be lying there by herself, because that's when she had to stare at the walls and listen to the ping, ping, ping of the machines, reminding her that she was just a useless bump.
"... Maybe just stay til I fall asleep? That shouldn't take too long ..."

Ahsoka remembered the older Padawan. They rarely crossed paths when Ahsoka lived in the Temple. She was too often with Anakin on missions or in the Senate with PadmΓ©. Ahsoka was truly glad that Krin survived. The Jedi didn't deserve their fate and if she met one who survived, she couldn't help but thank the Force.
"I'm glad to see you alive and well, Krin. How did you manage to escape? How are you living now?"
"I was a few years ahead of you, but you made quite the name for yourself." Krin had been a little jealous of padawans like Ahsoka Tano and her friend Caleb, who got to serve in her youth. She wasn't anymore.
"I'm Krin Nunye, we both grew up at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant."

Fives hadn't been this afraid in months. He was afraid of her answer. Thera was sometimes unpredictable and if she answered no⦠He didn't know what to do after that. Will they be able to rest after this? Or will he have to return to Coruscant and be angry with himself for the rest of his life because Thera will never speak to him again? Or⦠what?
Her answer and her actions eased the painful knot in his chest a little. But 'I love you' and 'I'm very fond of you' are two completely different meaning, right? What should he think about this? If Echo were around, he could tellβ¦ Even Rex couldβ¦probably.
"I was afraid to admit it to you. I didn't want to ruin our friendship. But I want you to knowβ¦"
He sighed and smiled at her.
"Looks like I ruined everything, huh?"
'I love you'.
Wasn't that the point where your heart was supposed to dance and your skin warm, and ... and yes, there was some of that happening. But mixed in with it was pure shock, because she hadn't been expecting an admission like this one - and now understood why Fives had been so nervous about jumping from that particular cliff.
Now all she needed to do was figure out what to say in return. Even 'like a couple' hadn't been what she thought she'd hear, much less ... the 'L' word.
In the romance holos, this would be where she'd fling herself into his arms and promise to be together forever; but instead she was struck dumb by surprise, and neither of them had a 'forever' to pledge.
"Fives ..." Thera moved over to him, because the poor man looked ready to fall out of his own skin, cupped his face in her hand and pressed a kiss to the corner of his lips. "I'm very fond of you, too ... but I didn't realise that was how you felt."

I became Anakin Skywalker's Padawan and he taught me hands-on while we were fighting the Separatistsβ¦"
Ahsoka talked about everything, including how she left the Order, how she returned to ask for help for Bo Katan and her last fight as a Jedi before Order 66 divided her life and the galaxy into a before and after. About how she hid from everyone for some time until she realized that she couldnβt live like this any longer. She didn't mention Bail Organa, calling him just an old friend. This way it will be safe for everyone.
"Since then, I've been a rebel and an intelligence officer for the Rebel Alliance. So I haven't talked much about myselfβ¦"
She looked at Seraph.
"If you don't want anything to do with me after this, I understand."
"Well, let's hear it then, I am all ears."
