something something juile's 'i write music in the same room that he did' is the same as 'luke introduced you to rock' in terms of lines the show just throws at us and never mentions again something something
I forgot to say this when I first watched the show but I wanna say in jatp when julie's dad was angry about her missing school, the kids didn't really recognize it fully. Carlos said it as an afterthought and you know what he said? He said "careful, dad has that face like when google maps tells him to turn on the wrong street". Not "careful, dad's in one of his moods" or "careful, he's angry" like I would've said when I was that age about my father. Their dad was rightfully upset about her missing class, but when julie apologized he calmed down and accepted. We stan Julie and carlos' dad so fucking hard, as hard as he's trying to father well.
Is this something they did regularly? How did they communicate that it was happening? Could Luke and Reggie just make eye contact and then turn to Alex and nod their heads?? And Alex would just shake his?? And they nodded again??? And Alex just caves with his beautiful grin?? and moves back a few paces to run up?? It’s rehearsed!! Did they just randomly practice crowd surfing?? Why do they do it here?? It’s so random????
thinking about luke being competitive by nature but like fully forgetting about his competitiveness when he sees julie dancing around in victory every time she buys another plot of land in monopoly or every time one of the boys have to pay her rent
a silly little smile just grows on his face as he watches her being adorable (while alex and reggie exchange glances because they definitely remember what competitive luke was like during their games of monopoly)
people be like “you can’t say they’re sunset curve without bobby, not allowed!!!!” and conveniently forget the actual Three Other Members of sunset curve canonically refer to themselves as sunset curve, without bobby
