also if you visit art galleries and museums there are little cards on the wall with the artist's statement and more context abt the work, like what makes me so angry is that you are in a museum, you decided to go there and you won't even bother to read about the pieces that you're looking at? and if it's not there why don't you choose a piece of work and read about it when you get home? this lack of curiousity (due to internet overstimulation) just fosters ignorance + arrogance, don't you want to know how art came to be? the thought, the labour, the sensations behind it? or do u only care abt hailey bieber chocolate glazed lip oil? pathetic!

also ok if you don't want to read the art or learn new things don't you at least want yourself to experience the piece? i saw a rothko for the first time in my life last year and i let it engulf me, don't you care about the feeling??????????????
