Why is it that one evening a year, under a full moon, words flow naturally through my mind and the rest of the time there's nothing but the abyss of nothingness?

I love the Underdark, I think that’s my favorite part in the game.
Galathil is also discovering about their roots, which isn’t like how they’d always imaged it at all. Instead of a dark and scary place it’s all bioluminescent. Though, they doubt they’ll return one day as they feel more at home at the surface.

Interesting that it's not a more common interpretation of Solas that he wants you to stop him.
By the end of trespasser (with a romanced or friendly Inquisitor, at least.) He lays out his plan and what the consequences will be. He says he's been committed this so long he has to continue. Inquisitor has shown him this world is beautiful too, but he's too stuck on his own mistakes vis-a-vis Elf Mortality.
Solas is too sad of a man about his own future actions to give me any impression other than someone who is clinging to a sunk cost.
He knows it isn't right. His time with the Inquisition proved these people are just as alive and worthy of this world as the ancient Elves. He just can't let go. Not when his actions doomed Elves to a life of being overwhelmingly magic-less and second class citizens, as well as mortal. It's too personal, too "his fault" to let go even when he knows it's not the right action anymore.
So he tells his friend, a doomed mortal who stumbled in to being a hero by being at the wrong place at the wrong time and also the person who has been fighting for the sake of Thedas this whole time. He gave us his plan.
Solas wants the Inquisitor after him, so that he doesn't have to give it up, he wants to be stopped. He's an idiot clinging to a sunk cost fallacy, and he can't let go. He needs us to tear him away from it.

So as Aniel spent most of her life at the Archdruid’s circle and is quiet old and retired, instead of being just her friend I finally made up that Tavarion was one of her students, to then become a friend. Who later become at his turn a mentor for Aniel’s child (Galathil). I find this idea very sweet. The ancient student who has the honor to mentor at his turn his own mentor’s kid. 🥺

I need to find back motivation to write my bg3 fic. I haven’t even completed one chapter because there were elements i then needed to change. There are things I want to write but I have zero motivation nor energy, and my brain cells have been on vacations for a decade.

Finally I got a Druid circlet !
Restarted a new game, with Galathil again, though this time I gave them eyes a little brighter red as it fits better my view of them. (Hope they still look like themselves).

Look like two different persons lol. Second one less their true self though. In real life Galathil would 100% be into fairy/cottage core alternative fashions.

Before they got caught by the Nautiloid, Galathil was living a peaceful life in the Forests of Tethyr. They never managed to earn others people acceptance at the Grove where they were an apprentice for a couple of years, but it didn’t matter. They had they best mother they could wish; Aniel, and animals they sometimes befriended in the forest. Galathil thought they could just live such a life forever. An hermit life, but safe at least.
However, after they met their companions, they realized how lonely they’ve been. Despite everything, they at least thank the day the Mind Flayers caught them, for their misadventures led them to meet the dearest Friends and Lover.
Finally, they found their place in the world.
And now, that’s for sure, they will never ever be alone again.

Just finished BG3 and I had the best ending I could dream of ! Everyone had a nice ending and I m so happy ! I will really miss my companions
Next contain spoilers so don’t “show more” if you haven’t finish the game.
Galathil was not turned into illithid. No one was, the larva died, as the elder brain, we saved Baldur’s Gate, Faerûn and probably the rest of Toril.
Galathil got to live a happy life beside Shadowheart. Of course the first thing they did together was returning to Tethyr. The forest there was also healed, as the curse was also linked to the absolute cult. Galathil came back home to visit their mother and introduced her to Shadowheart.
Karlach is alive, stuck in Avernus, but not alone, as Wyll accompany her, and she maybe found a solution to repair her heart ! Wyll reconciled with his father who helped us to defeat the brain.
Gale returned the crown to Mystra as promised and was healed in return. He became a teacher. Galathil promised to visit him time to time to give Druidism lessons to his students.
Astarion can no longer stand under the sun but is at least he live free and happy.
Lae’zel is working to free her people from Vlaakith’s yoke.
At first Galathil felt bad about loosing the trust of the Emperor, whom they also counted as a friend. But the Emperor showed his true colors when he joined the absolute. At the end, Galathil was the one to defeated him.
Galathil who was a lot lonely before they got caught by the Nautiloid now won precious, long life friends, they would’ve never met without all those “mis” adventures. They are not only more confident in themselves but also happier than they’ve never been.

I hate having to betray each Lae’zel or the Emperor, they are both my friends, why can’t the cooperate ):
Next contains spoilers
Welp I chose to free Orpheus because I think it’s the right thing to do but feel really sad that I lost my friendship with the Emperor ): though, if he is turning to the Elder brain just because of my choice it means he wasn’t true with me anyway. ):
