I was looking through some of my old files for something and?? I came across this, which i guess i made when Joker was announced for smash,, but. I have no recollection of drawing this. So, uh. Enjoy? I guess?
I need more wholesome headcanons about the kirby characters in my life.
Kirby likes to make a drawing of every newcomer in Smash as a welcome gift. Almost everyone has kept theirs to this date.
Whenever Meta Knight is in a bad mood, Kirby and King Dedede (and Bandana Waddle Dee, when he's present) will give him the "love tackle" which is exactly what it sounds like: they tackle him and trap him in a hug. Meta Knight hates that this actually works, let alone how well it works.
King Dedede leaves Bandana Dee in charge of his castle while he's at Smash. While he occasionally worries about his well-being, he knows that Bandana Dee is more than capable.

The clouds were getting darker, but for Jacob that only helped him as he took out the Blighters guarding a Templar agent. He spotted the lookout and made quick work of them, disposing of another when they came to investigate the body. Jacob jumped in through an open window and found rolled up papers containing heist plans. He fed them into a nearby fireplace.
When he hopped out of the window the rain was coming down. The hood he had pulled over his head kept the rain from obscuring his vision. It didn’t do any favors for the remaining Blighters, however. He picked them off until he finally made it to the Templar they were guarding. Greenie gave some instruction on a special way to take this one out, but Jacob had the man in his sights. He pulled his pistol out and took the shot.
Jacob waited long enough to make sure the Templar crumbled—it was a headshot and Jacob rarely missed– before aiming his rope launcher at a building several meters away and making his escape. It wouldn’t take long for nearby bobbies to come investigate the noise.
He made it to the other roof and detached his hook. With the rain coming down he moved a bit more carefully climbing back down to the ground. Jacob was far enough away now that he wouldn’t be a suspect in the murder. His Rooks were probably already making themselves at home in the freshly unoccupied territory. Jacob pushed back his hood, slicking his hair and popping on his collapsible top hat.
All in all, an easy job. He would report it to Greenie later. Jacob was in no hurry to get back to the hideout so he decided to take in a bit of a walk.
He’d been walking for a good few minutes when the rain was suddenly interrupted. Jacob glanced up to see an umbrella covering, and attached to it was Maxwell Roth.
“A bit far from the Strand, aren’t you?”
“I do go out on occasion.” Maxwell’s eyes swept over Jacob. “Did you fall in the Thames again?”
“For the last time, I don’t fall in– I jump on purpose.” Jacob couldn’t help smiling at their exchange of banter. “And it so happens I got caught in the rain this time.”
“And I suppose it didn’t occur to you to wait it out.”
“It’s only rain.” Jacob snatched the umbrella out of Maxwell’s hand, tilting it so it no longer covered their heads. “See?”
Maxwell didn’t try to put the umbrella back over their heads. He brushed some rain off Jacob’s cheek. It was as much physical affection as he could get away with in public.
“Wait it out with me,” Jacob encouraged him.
“Without the umbrella?”
Jacob grinned and shrugged his shoulders. “Why not?”
