Aug 14, 2011 Tldr at the end. So, I want to learn German. I started learning on Duolingo but let's be honest here, that's not enough. I started to look on YouTube for Skyrim's opening cutscene in German, I decided to use it to learn since I, and I'm sure all of you, know every word by heart.
Casual Clothes - Very Rare Mod. Hi all, this set of male casual clothes mod which contain 3 modern suits also wasnt THAT rare till the original creator was banned on nexus and after that happen this mod disappeared.(for real i searched a LOT of places but no luck till now) So, I found the whole mod packed in BSA file, but unfortunately zip file was broken and one of this 3 suits is broken( i.
– Delete the Skyrim Special Edition folder. (pack the scripts into an archive and load into MO2 as a mod). Highlight SkyUISE.esp & SkyUI.SE.bsa.
A quick guide to using BSAopt and DDSopt to extract loose files from a BSA archive. -- by STEP Team Guide Forum Thread
If you haven't already done so, you will also need to add the add-on's.bsa file to SResourceArchiveList2 in the Archive section. For example, SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa. Do not add.bsa files to this list unless all source code is available or the 'Add Script' button may cause the Creation Kit to crash.
This page assumes you have a basic understanding of the mod manager being used. If this is not the case, please read up on either the Wrye Bash Guide or Mod Organizer Guide.
Unpacking BSAs
Both BSAopt and DDSopt are built off of the same architecture, but DDSopt has a different primary purpose: optimizing textures. The difference between the programs is that because DDSopt is primarily used to alter the files it is extracting, it requires an extra step to use purely as an extraction tool. If you don't mind having another application installed, BSAopt is easier to use and doesn't require potential configuration changes every time it's used. Instructions for installation and initial setup of BSAopt are available here, and instructions for setup of DDSopt are found in DDSopt Configuration. Instructions for extracting BSAs using either program are as follows:
(Optional but recommended for general use) Set BSA archives to be opened with BSAopt or DDSopt by default. This only needs to be done once and then BSAs can be opened by simply double-clicking them.
Right-click a BSA file and selecting (Open with...).
Next choose 'Select a program from a list of installed programs' and click (OK).
Click (Browse...) then find and select 'BSAopt.exe' or 'DDSopt.exe'.
BSAopt or DDSopt should then appear highlighted in the 'Open with' dialog box. Make sure 'Always use this selected program to open this kind of file' is selected and click (OK)
Now that the BSA is opened in your program of choice, DDSopt users will need to click the (Ignore) menu on the top bar and select (Don't process any of the known file types at all).
You must next specify where to extract the files. Generally one would extract the files to the same directory the BSA is located in. To achieve this, all you need to do is type '.' (a singular period without quotes) in the bottom text box. Otherwise, click (Browse) and navigate to the desired directory.
Click (Unpack) (BSAopt) or (Process) (DDSopt) and another window should appear with two progress bars. Once that disappears the extracted files should appear in the destination folder.
If using this process during mod installation, rename or delete the source BSA so that the associated ESP doesn't use it and instead relies on the newly extracted loose files.
Mod Organizer Special Instructions
Mod Organizer has a built-in BSA extraction feature. In v0.12 of Mod Organizer it will ask whether you want to extract a BSA when you install a mod with one. When the 'Extract BSA' prompt appears when installing a mod, simply click (Yes). Deleting the BSA after extraction is a good thing, it forces the associated ESP to rely on the newly extracted loose files.
To extract a BSA that's already installed in MO:
Open the 'BSAs' tab on the right side of the screen.
Right-click the BSA you wish to extract and click (Extract...).
Browse to the desired destination and click (Select Folder).
Usually you'll want to extract the BSA to the mod's folder. The wizard should open initially to the 'ModOrganizer' directory. The mod folders are found under the 'mods' subfolder, so browse there to find the correct folder.
Unfortunately using this method doesn't automatically delete the BSA. Instead just deselect the BSA in Mod Organizer, this achieves the same effect.
Using BSA to Identify Redundant ESPs
Mods with resources (e.g. textures and scripts) can use either a BSA or loose files for these resources. If a BSA file is used, then an ESP file is needed so that Skyrim can load the BSA. There are several mods that utilize an ESP only to 'activate' the provided BSA. In these cases, by extracting the BSA into a set of loose files, the ESP will no longer be needed. In order to maximize compatibility and reduce possible engine trouble associated with a high number of ESPs, it is useful to eliminate these files whenever possible. Mod Organizer does this automatically, so those using MO typically do not need to use the following instructions.
To determine whether the ESP in a mod with a BSA is only present so Skyrim will extract the BSA and thus can be safely removed, do the following. Of course, if a mod has more than one ESP then it automatically does not fall under this category. Mod Organizer generally puts a broom icon in the plugins list if the plugin is only present to cause the BSA to be loaded.
Load the mod into TES5Edit:
Start TES5Edit.
When the 'Master/Plugin Selection' window is shown, right-click in the window and click (Select None).
Scroll through the list and select the mod(s) you are interested in.
Click (OK) at the bottom of the window.
TES5Edit will load the mod(s) and any required master files. This process is complete when 'Background Loading finished' appears in the right window.
Now the mod can be examined:
Click the (+) box next to the mod name. This will expand the mod information to show what is included in the ESP.
The first line is 'File Header'. If there are no other lines, the ESP can safely be removed once the BSA is extracted.
Once the mod's BSA is extracted (per the previous tab's instructions), it is safe to delete both the BSA and ESP files and only use the extracted loose files. Note that any mod extracted in this manner should still be installed in the order specified on the STEP Guide.
The STEP guide includes a list of which mods have esp plugins that are redundant.
Creating Optimized Vanilla BSAs
The DDSopt Guide discusses how to optimize the Skyrim textures contained in BSAs and loose files. That guide includes optimization of Skyrim - Textures.bsa, the three High Resolution Texture Pack BSAs (which contain only textures), and the textures contained in ht eaddon DLC BSAs that contain a mixture of textures and other resources (Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfies.bsa, and Dragonborn.bsa). Skyrim also has 8 other vanilla BSAs that do not contain textures. Prior to Skyrim version 1.8 it was possible to use BSAopt to optimize some of the vanilla BSAs that contain resources other than textures, but with the current version of Skyrim there are all too frequent problems when this is done. The full set of reasons for this are not well understood, but one of the reasons is that Skyrim no longer expects compression on many of the resource types used in Skyrim as discussed in this thread in the STEP forums.
Mod Organizer, the mod manager generally recommended for use with STEP, can automatically extract resources from BSA if necessary so even if it were feasible to optimize the non-texture BSAs it often would not provide any practical advantage. It is usually best to avoid extracting BSAs with a mod manager, particularly with Mod Organizer, since there are some known issues with some mods when this is done.
Using BSAopt to optimize non-texture BSAs is thus not recommended.
Repairing Skyrim files with Steam
Note that the following guidance is not needed when using Mod Organizer since it preserves the vanilla Skyrim files in their default location.
One reason for having copies of the original and any BSAs whose textures are optimized with DDSopt in two folders is to use when there's a corrupted Skyrim game file. If this happens, use Steam to validate the game files in the Skyrim directory. Before using the (Verify integrity of game cache) command in Steam, copy all of the files in the 'Original Vanilla BSAs' folder (or whatever name was used for the folder with copies of the original BSAs) into the Data directory, overwriting any optimized ones. This step is necessary because Steam is going to replace all the game files with their original versions, and if there are different versions of the vanilla BSAs Steam will need to download all the original BSAs from scratch - a slow process if you have a low BW connection. By copying back the original BSAs the Steam validation will typically proceed quickly.
After Steam completes any necessary repairs and validates the game files, it is time to return the optimized BSAs to the 'Data directory'. Copy all 6 of the optimized BSAs from the 'Optimized Vanilla BSAs' folder (or equivalent) into the Data directory, overwriting the 6 original BSAs. Then do the same for any additional vanilla BSAs you have.
BSAopt uses much of the same code as DDSopt, but it has a simpler purpose. Initial configuration of BSAopt is similar to that used for DDSopt.
Setup of BSAopt
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To reduce potential issues on Windows OS, the following should be considered:
The user must have Administrative access on the system (this allows BSAopt settings to be saved for later use),
Applications installed within User Access Controlled (UAC) directories (e.g., Program Files, Program Files (x86)) may not behave as expected, so consider installing BSAopt and Steam into other directory locations (e.g., C:GamesBSAopt and C:GamesSteam)
Tumblr media
Before using BSAopt the first time make sure that step 1.B. of the current STEP guide has been completed. BSAopt uses a registry value created during this process.
Make sure the 2012 Visual C++ redistributable from Microsoft is installed on the system; the current 32 bit and 64 bit versions are available here. When using a 64 bit version of windows installing both the 32 and 64 bit versions is recommended.
Download BSAopt-beta (version 2.0.0) from the Nexus.
Since BSAopt is completely portable, there is no installer, so extract the files into a folder (e.g., C:GamesDDSopt).
Create a shortcut to the applicable executable (32-bit or 64-bit, depending on which version of Windows is being used).
Right click on the shortcut, go to the 'Compatibility' tab, and check the box labeled 'Run this program as an administrator', then click 'Apply' and 'OK'. This ensures that BSAopt is run with administrative privileges so the chosen settings will 'stick' between sessions.
The first time BSAopt is used, it is suggested that the Game menu selection be set to Automatic.

Using BSAopt
Basic documentation from Ethatron on BSAopt is available here. A useful tutorial on using BSAopt to extract BSAs is found here.
This page describes the format of the BSAs used for the Elder Scrolls games including Skyrim, and this thread in the STEP forums has additional details on the BSA format and the options used in the vanilla Skyrim BSAs. Note that when creating BSAs BSAopt will set the flag for compressed or uncompressed, but it does not set the other flags mentioned in this post. It is not known how Skyrim uses these flags or whether there are problems with BSAs that do not have these flags set to the Bethesda default values for the resource type. Note that vanilla Bethesda BSAs containing multiple resource types (e.g., the DLC BSAs) are always uncompressed. BSAopt does not have an option to enter the types of resources included in a BSA, and if a BSA is going to include any of the resources for which the corresponding Skyrim vanilla BSA is uncompressed, then the BSAoptCompression value must be manually set to 0(off). Any BSA with a single resource type of textures, meshes, or animations resources can be a compressed BSA, but if the BSA includes any other resource type it must be uncompressed. If this is not done then there will be CTDs with Skyrim when these BSAs are used.
When creating a BSA with resources that include duplicate copies (based on the CRC of the resource) with different file/path names, BSAopt will include all of the file names in the BSA but only one copy of the resource file itself.
When BSAopt starts up it scans the last directory that was used for input. If this directory has a large set of files, it can take BSAopt a long time to complete this scan before it accepts user input. It is recommended that before closing BSAopt the upper (input) Browse window be set to a directory that has few files so the initial scan will be quick. BSAopt can also get into a loop if it failed to load an archive and the user forces BSAopt to close. For advanced users the following tip (taken from a post in the Nexus BSAopt forum) can be used:
BSAopt/DDSopt can be used to create BSAs, but the safest way to create BSAs for Skyrim is to use the Archive.exe program that is loaded into the Skyrim directory when the Creation Kit is installed using Steam. Arthmoor created a useful page Using BAIN and Archive.exe to Package a Skyrim Mod on using Archive.exe that includes examples and screenshots. For older Bethesda games such as Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Morrowind the FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager program) can be used to create BSAs. The most recent version of FOMM is available here.
The Archive.exe program has a simple GUI. The Root Dir: can be set to Data or to the root directory on one of the system drives (e.g., D:). If RootDir: is set to Data then all the files being added to the BSA must be in the current SkyrimData directory. If RootDir: is set to a root directory then the resource folders being added to the BSA (e.g., the textures folder) need to be in this root directory. Folders and even individual files can be added to the BSA by dragging and dropping them onto the large window in Archive.exe. The files to be included in the BSA should be checked; the Edit menu includes an option to Check All Items which will check all the boxes. When all the files are entered and checked, click on the File menu and select Save As, then enter the name of the new BSA including the '.bsa' extension.
For Advanced Users: When Skyrim is installed on an SSD Steam has a capability to install games in multiple directories, and a common use of this is to install most Steam games on a hard disk drive (HDD) and a few games like Skyrim that need faster disk access on a Solid State Drive (SSD). Steam tools, however, are only installed in the main Steam directory (..SteamSteamAppscommonSkyrim) on the HDD. When this happens copy the Creation Kit files that Steam installed in the Skyrim directory in the main Steam directory to the Skyrim directory (..SteamSteamAppscommonSkyrim) on the SSD.
Installing the Creation Kit
Highlight Library in the menu in the upper part of the Steam window by clicking on Library.
Right-click on Library and select Tools.
Right Click on Creation Kit in the TOOLS menu and select Properties.
Select the LOCAL FILES tab and click on the VERIFY INTEGRITY OF TOOL CACHE button.
Steam will begin downloading and installing the Creation Kit in the Skyrim directory, and will provide a notification when this is complete.

The Sims 4 Dine Out Mods
Internet culture eats up memes and posts about zodiac signs. They often trend on.
Help with my mods or sims 4 in general– Discord Dine Out is REQUIRED. This will not give you restaurants. I had a request to make it so you can hire you who want regardless of their skill levels.
The Sims 4 is the perfect game to let time float by. Despite coming out years ago, there’s always something new to check out every time you sit down to play – whether it comes from EA or the Custom Content community.
If you’re already familiar with the Eco Lifestyle expansion and can’t wait for the upcoming releases, well there’s nothing left to do but plunge right into the world of mods and CC.
› The Sims 4 Modding & Custom Content. ISO Mods for Dine Out. PsychoSimXX Posts: 4,403 Member. March 2018 in Gameplay Mods.
And what a better place to start than by revamping TS4’s food and cooking?
The base game’s systems can feel a bit rudimentary at times, and we all need variety in our diets to live healthy, happy lives – even Sims.
So join me as I take a look at the best culinary mods that’ll elevate your Sim’s foodie experience to the next level.
20. The Grocery Store Mod
Before your Sims can get any cooking done, they must attend to their pantry and fill the fridge with ingredients that’ll open up the culinary possibilities.
In previous installments of The Sims you were allowed to visit the grocery store and similar venues right from the get-go. But The Sims 4 is a bit different in that… well, it expects you to either grow food yourself or find it out in the world by chance.
With this fantastic mod from SmagGeorge, you’ll simulate the cooking experience more realistically by physically going to the store to get all you need for a balanced meal. Just like real life!
19. Shop for Groceries
With my life as it is nowadays, I never actually go to the grocery store. It’s the 2020’s, after all, so now we get our groceries from the comfort of our beds. Welcome to the modern era.
This mod by notorious creator SrslySims allows your Sim to indulge in their sedentary tendencies without sacrificing healthy eating.
Hungry? Just have your sim order groceries from a phone, tablet, computer, or even a cash register if you just want some grub at work.
Thanks to this add-on, every fish, produce item, and flower in the entire game is just one click away.
Also it’s compatible with other mods that add new ingredients too. Nifty!
18. More Servings Options & Better Meal Time Menus
Once you’ve got your ingredients ready, it’s time to call up the family and serve them a warm, hearty meal that’ll hopefully give some positive buffs, rather than send them running to the bathroom.
As the family cook, it can often be annoying to cook every single serving.
And sometimes the default serving sizes are simply insufficient.
This mod by LittleMsSam fixes this issue by letting you choose how many meals to cook in detail.
Whether you want a romantic dinner for two, a special Party Size meal for seven Sims, or just a single cheese sandwich, your Sim will be ready to measure ingredients and cook with precision in mind.
17. Healthy Drinks
The default drink variety in The Sims 4 isn’t exactly extensive.
What better way to improve it than with health-giving drinks that’ll keep your Sim active and energized throughout the day?
Creator LittleMsSam decided to improve her Sims’ lifestyle and make these healthy drinks available at any venue where drinks are prepared and served.
Options include Carrot Juice, Spinach Juice, Lemon Juice and even Plasma Fruit Juice for the bloodsuckers in the family.
And these healthy drinks aren’t all show. They’ll also give your Sims positive, health-related buffs such as a happy moodlet and a minor increase to their fitness skill.
16. Edible Junk Food
Let’s face it. Most of us haven’t had a healthy drink in weeks (or at least our Sims haven’t!)
The only things that are never missing from most of our homes are snacks and plenty of junk food.
The Sims, living the whimsical lives they do, are primed to indulge in the same unhealthy delicacies as humans. Still, their choices are a tad limited.
To expand their repertoire of snacks, CC creator Around The Sims brings us this pack of iconic treats consisting of Nutella, Oreos, and several flavors of Pringles Potato Chips.
Anyone else getting hungry just reading this?
15. Assorted Cookbooks
Junk food is delicious, but we should do our best to avoid it, or that’s what my gym teacher always said.
One of the best ways to keep you eating healthy is learning plenty of recipes for fresh meals.
Creator LittleMsSam makes this much easier for our Sims by providing these diverse cookbooks that’ll teach a Sim to cook a bunch of experimental recipes, seafood, and much more.
All in around 60 in-game minutes.
You can also make NPCs read these books, so they know the best way to cook these dishes too. That way they can make them for you, saving you plenty of time.
Hint: look into a butler.
14. Custom Food Interactions
One of the most important food-related mods you can download is TheFoodGroup’s Custom Food Interactions, a pre-requisite for most of their recipe CC packs.
After installing this mod, you’ll notice you now have a “Custom Food” option anywhere you have regular food interactions.
You can cook custom food at the stove, feed your toddler custom food, and even make Vampire-friendly food.
This makes it easy to find all of your shiny new recipes, letting your Sim indulge in the custom delicacies you so painstakingly procured for them.
13. Custom Drink Interactions
And why would you stop at custom food when you could enhance this simulation by installing TheFoodGroup’s Custom Drink Interactions?
You want an Apricot Bellini? A Pink Lady?
Maybe some cocoa with marshmallows, perhaps?
Custom Drink Interactions can make it easy for your Sim to get themselves a little bit of flavor in a cup, anywhere that drinks are usually available.
If you’ve been using mods for a while, perhaps you know this mod as IceMunMun’s Custom Drink Interactions.
This is the updated version, maintained by a different group after IceMunMun dropped the project.
12. Food Delivery Service
I’ve been busy with work and other projects lately, so I’ve had to rely on my favorite local restaurants to keep me fed through their delivery services.
Just like I can make my time last more by not cooking my own meals, so should your Sims have the chance to indulge in the wonders of ordering food.
Thanks to LittleMsSam’s Food Delivery Service mod, now they can.
Where originally they could only order pizza, now your Sims have astounding culinary variety at their fingertips 24 hours a day.
They can order single, family, or party size depending on their needs. And the delivery will only cost them 25 Simoleons, plus the cost of preparing the food.
11. Granny’s Cookbook
If you’re interested in easy-to-use mods, Granny’s Cookbook by creator Littlebowbub will not disappoint.
It merely adds a cookbook decoration you can place wherever you find it convenient.
You’ll then be able to interact with it and choose from a wide array of recipes divided into Cold Drinks, Warm Drinks, Quick Meals, and Granny’s Recipes.
These recipes include simple stuff like Chicken and Dumpling Soup, but also experimental dishes such as Beef Patty with Coco Bread, or Thai Mango Sticky Rice.
Whether you want a snack, a drink, or a more substantial meal, just choose a recipe and your Sim will take care of the rest.
And hopefully not burn the house down.
10. Drinkable Hot Drinks
Creator AroundTheSims generally focuses on visual improvements and decorative CC for The Sims 4.
These wonderfully modeled hot drinks started their lives as decorations, before the creator had the genius idea of making them functional beverages too.
This pack includes all kinds of hot beverages with unique looks to keep you warm and stylish through a rainy day. Or just to have your friends over and have a friendly chat over steamy concoctions.
Tumblr media
It even includes some lesser-known multicultural options like Japanese Tea and Yerba Mate for our Argentinian and Syrian friends.
9. Drinkable Alcoholic Drinks
AroundTheSims continues the series of re-purposed decorative drinks with another mod: Drinkable Alcoholic Drinks.
This expands the ethylic possibilities of The Sims 4 to reflect better the realities of alcohol consumption in the 21st century.
It includes several staples of bartenders worldwide like the Mai-Thai and the Margarita, along with household classics like Bailey’s on the rocks.
Each of these iconic drinks will have a different effect on your Sim so it’s fun to get them drunk and see what happens.
And of course, please drink responsibly!
8. McDonald’s Custom Food & Drinks
If like seeing McDonald’s in games, you’ll have a blast with AroundTheSims’ McDonald’s Custom Food & Drinks.
These beautifully-modeled colorful treats include desserts, fries, chicken nuggets, and burgers in bright red and yellow packaging bearing the golden arches.
It’s a lot of variety to experience in one sitting. So you’ll probably be ordering McDonald’s for a while.
The pack also includes a lot of themed furniture and appliances to let you create your very own McDonald’s inside The Sims 4. Yes, really!
7. Ask to Cook/Bake/Grill/Mix Drink
We all know someone who’s never had to lift a finger to make their own food. They’re a fact of life!
And so should they be in The Sims 4 if we’re aiming at any level of realism.
This simple mod by LittleMsSam will let you ask other Sims, including NPCs, to take care of your culinary needs by interacting with the same appliances you usually would.
This is ideal for the lazy Sim that never leaves his room, and any Butler/Maid situation you want to setup.
Just keep in mind that the Sim will need to know the recipe before cooking anything for you.
6. Don’t Wash Dishes Where You Angry Poop
One of the most common complaints and occasional memes regarding The Sims 4 has to be the fact that Sims appear to love doing the dishes in somewhat… unusual places, including the bathroom.
This has a lot to do with the fact that bathroom and kitchen sinks are just seen as “sinks” by the AI.
That’s what Scumbumbo’s humorously-titled mod wishes to address here.
It letsyou manually tell your Sims which sinks are OK for washing dishes, and which should be left alone.
That way you won’t be thrown out of your immersion by their bizarre behavior, and they’ll have less uncomfortable encounters in the bathroom.
5. Don’t Prep Food Where You Angry Poop
Just like the previous mod, Don’t Prep Food Where You Angry Poop will allow you to set cooking-safe stoves and surfaces around the house manually.
This saves your Sims a lot of awkward moments with their roommates, family members, and the odd house guest.
These may be simple mods, but they deserve to be near the top for just how useful and essential they are.
Would it really be that difficult for EA to take care of this in the base game?
4. AsteriaSims’ Food Texture Overhaul
One of the most sought-after improvements in The Sims 4 are those that make your game look more realistic… or put simply, prettier.
A great way to achieve this when it comes to food is AsteriaSims’ Food Texture Overhaul, a comprehensive pack of appealing textures to make your Sim’s food look as delicious as you’d see in real life.
This pack features intricate detail, as is evident in its bowls of individually-depicted grains of rice.
That roasted chicken is also among the most realistic I’ve ever seen.
3. UtopiaSims’ Food Textures
Another excellent array of upgraded textures you definitely shouldn’t install if you’re watching your weight is UtopiaSims’ many food textures.
They’re colorful, warm, and delicious-looking.
The Sims 4 Dine Out Mods Free
Best of all, they achieve this without going for a photo-realistic look that forces you to change everything lest the food looks out of place surrounded by the clay-like vanilla aesthetic.
2. GrayCurse’s Cooking & Ingredients Overhaul
If what you’re looking for isn’t an aesthetic improvement, but a robust culinary addition to gameplay, then the Cooking & Ingredients Overhaul by creator GrayCurse is what you need.
This engaging mod makes cooking a more challenging and in-depth endeavor by adding many more ingredients.
You’ll get stuff like cheese, flour, eggs, milk, and sugar. It also makes recipes more complex.
This way you’ll need to procure the ingredients for each dish first.
Don’t worry about the added complexity making your Sim go hungry, though. You can get most of it by buying it from the fridge.
1. Srsly’s Complete Cooking Overhaul
In a similar vein as our previous entry, Srsly’s Cooking Overhaul changes recipes to make them more complex, thanks to more accurate ingredient lists.
Just as in real life, your Sims will now be missing ingredients for their recipes all the time.
To balance this out, Srsly also allows us to order them through the Food Delivery Service covered before, which is a vital part of this larger overhaul.
Ingredients will arrive in a packaged form that’s stylish and appealing as a temporary decoration. Would be nice to have this in real life, eh?
But if you need a single mod that’ll truly turbo-charge your cooking experience in TS4, this is it.

Fallout 4 Flat Land Mod
Tumblr media
My girlfriend is finally getting into the settlement building aspect of fallout 4 and is getting quite frustrated with all of the uneven land she has to deal with. I'm trying to coach her through it or take over when it gets too much but in my case I usually only build in places that are even enough that I don't notice any clipping or hovering. A mod to flatten terrain - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: could someone make a mod to flattern the terrain by selecting the terrain you want to be flatten to then select the terrain you want to flatten. And see about adding to bethesda.net for consoles.

Fallout 4 may have released its final official DLC, but the mod community is still going strong. Mods are now available not just on PC, but also console — and now that weeks have passed and the PS4 has a healthy supply of different mods to choose from, it’s time to show off mods that make a great game even better. Here you’ll find all the greatest mods that add new content to the base games and its expansions — from fresh settlements, to new interiors and quests, to utilities you can use to build the homestead of your dreams.
There’s a reason why I wanted to discuss mods on the PS4 specifically. They’re extremely limited. Instead of (almost) full access to new items, objects and audio like on the Xbox One, PS4 mods are relegated to only using current in-game assets. That severely limits creativity, and effectively cuts the PS4 modding community off at the knees. It’s an aggravating truth, but one that hundreds of awesome creators are working with to release useful mods for the console community.
If you’re skeptical, own a PS4, or just want to see what’s available — here are some of the best content-related Fallout 4 console mods (for PS4) released so far.
Immersive Gameplay
Author: Jacomel
Download Size: 2.64 MB
DLC Required: None / Automatron + Far Harbor + Nuka World (Two versions of the mod are available.)
(Note: Always place this mod at the end of your load order.)
The largest gameplay and difficulty mod available for console is now available on Playstation 4. Designed for hardcore players, this unpredictable and deadly mod tries to bring realism into the post-apocalypse. AI routines have changed depending on the enemy group, with human mercenaries fighting carefully from cover while Super Mutants use their enhanced strength to charge wildly. Monsters are fierce, and humans are deadly.
The player begins with only 20 HP, and gun damage is calculated by caliber. Ammunition has weight, can be crafted and melee attacks are deadlier than before. On top of all those changes, you’ll also find a stack of gear under your pre-war bed. This mod changes how you’ll play from the start, so it’s recommended you begin a new game from scratch before activating it.
There’s also a version designed for DLC — with changes made to new content only found in Automatron, Nuka-World and Far Harbor.
Outfield Retreat
Author: TheRealElianora
Download Size: 298.23 KB
DLC Required: None
This brand-new player house was created, in the author’s own words, to “shut the mouths of people constantly grieving that “PS4 MODS WILL SUCK!”. In any case, this Diamond City housing doesn’t suck. Carefully designed for maximum comfort (and Feng Shui), this impressive bit of modelling includes all the simple things a Sole Survivor needs to relax between quests.
The small space contains a map marker for fast travel, a workstation, bobblehead shelf, unique storage cases, clean water, a fancy bed, and plenty of bookshelves you can use. The decorations, though, can’t be altered. This house isn’t for players looking to display everything they own, or to customize — this is for the laid back adventurer that wants a nice place away from the hustle-bustle of settlements that’s pre-made. There’s even a day-night cycle.
Plenty ‘O’ Exploration
Author: DangoSan
Download Size: 531.67 KB
DLC Required: None
(Note: This mod is still in development, and will see new content updates in the near future.)
This mod may only be in BETA for PS4, it includes something every Fallout fan should enjoy — plenty of new interiors and exteriors to explore. As explained in the description, most of the new interiors can be found in the Concord area, which is sadly underutilized in the main portion of the game. This simple mod adds nine new interiors to the mix, fully explorable and completely immersive. Like any good mod, these locations look like they belong in the main game.
Then there’s the exteriors. There are multiple haunts, huts, and retreats to stumble into as you progress through the northern reaches of the Commonwealth. If you felt like Fallout 4 didn’t have enough locations, both inside or out, then this is a great mod to get started on.
There are more mods that are compatible — combine them for even more extra locations to explore.
Mix and match to truly expand the Commonwealth into a bustling area with endless exploration options.
A Cannibal in Concord
Author: T9x69
Download Size: 442.67 KB
DLC Required: None
Speaking of additional Concord content, this puzzle-based atmospheric exploration mod sends your Sole Survivor on an ambient quest deep into the mind of a maniac. Featuring short stories and quotes meant to completely creep you out, this spooky house is designed for a solo trip for maximum spook-factor. This addition isn’t about running-and-gunning, or even a traditional quest structure.
If you’re looking for an interesting place to puzzle over that’s filled with creepy visuals, this is one of the best mods available on the PS4. Don’t worry that your companion won’t go inside the house with you — that’s by design.
Spectacle Island Revamped
Author: FelloutIsLife
Download Size: 1.12 MB
DLC Required: None
(Note: Before activating this mod, travel to Spectacle Island and activate the beacon in the base game.)
The largest settlement in Fallout 4 just got a revamp. This mod completely changes Spectacle Island into a far more colorful and interesting place. You can still establish a settlement and build on new-and-improved flat land, with 5 new mini-areas to check out. Each of these areas comes with a separate text-based side-quest you can complete for special rewards — including a new gun.
Portable Nuka Jetpack
Author: langnao
Download Size: 18.33 KB
DLC Required: Nuka-World
Want to go flying, but don’t want that bulky Power Armor? If you have the Nuka-World DLC, you can take to the skies with this amazing jetpack, available for free in the Super Duper Mart. This is a quick solution, and doesn’t require access to one of those tricky Power Armor upgrades. There’s no fall damage, the suit comes with ballistic weave, and the included helmet helps deal with radiation.
If you’re not so fond of the Nuka-World outfit this jetpack comes with, try out the incredibly useful Unified Clothing Overhaul Mod by ANDREWCX, also featured in this article below. His mod adds tons of useful features to clothing crafting, and unlocks the jetpack for Nuka-World owners.
Wacky Weapon Workshop
Author: ANDREWCX
Download Size: 514.85 KB
DLC Required: None / Automatron + Nuka-World + Far Harbor (Two versions of the mod are available.)
Not satisfied with weapon customization in Fallout 4? Here’s a mod that gives you plenty of tools to expand your arsenal, effectively allowing you to create insane franken-guns using every part from almost every weapon. The mod removes perk requirements and material costs so you can freely experiment to make the wild weapon of your dreams.
Tumblr media
And there are limitations. Not every gun part fits to every other gun part — the mod doesn’t alter models, animations, or stats of these weapons, and does not include melee weapons. This is about guns only. What makes this mod special is the creative way it wants to get around the obvious drawbacks of PS4 modding. This is a development tool, better for creating cool custom weapons than for day-to-day play. The author recommends finishing your awesome assets, then disabling the mod when you’re finished. Here’s hoping this mod helps future authors create new weapons on the PS4.
DrakenVale Manor
Author: SlacksNawfside
Download Size: 1.6 MB
DLC Required: Far Harbor + Nuka World
(Note: If the location does not properly load on your first visit, fast travel to a different location. Fast travel back to the manor and that should make the textures load properly.)
Fallout 4 Flat Land Mod 1.7.10
Another awesome exploration / playing housing mod on the Playstation 4, this ambient retreat doesn’t offer scares like “A Cannibal in Concord” — instead you’ll find an incredibly detailed and impressive mansion filled with interesting things to interact with. Yes, there is a roller coaster.
Fallout 4 Illegal Mods
This dream-like area is south of Diamond City, and it is hard to miss. With massive ramparts and towers covered in overgrown turrets, it doesn’t look like it belongs, but the craftsmanship is too superb to ignore. This wonderfully creative and unique location can be fully explored, and we suggest you give it a shot.
Fallout 4 Flat Land Mod Apk
World to Come
Fallout 4 Mod Sites
Author: Neeher
Download Size: 973.35 KB
DLC Required: None
Fight the ultimate beast on the PS4 in “World to Come” a mini-quest mod challenging any Sole Survival to beat Gojira, a huge (and fast) legendary Death Claw. And we’re not talking normal huge here, this thing is six times the size of a regular Death Claw. It’s well over two-stories tall, and the health bar is equally impressive. Defeating it will earn you a brand new Perk.
To start the quest, find a man between Quincy Quarries and Hyde Park in the Commonwealth. He’ll point you in the right direction. Just remember to go prepared.
Those are our picks for mods worth checking out in Fallout 4 (on the PS4) — is there a mod you think we missed? Let us know in the comments!
