getting over the fear of being bad is so fucking hard… like, it’s literally a super power if you can start something and say ‘it doesn’t matter if it’s bad, it just matters that it exists’
‘bad’ is so terrifying, ‘bad’ is wrecking, and the ability to apply self-compassion to things deemed ‘bad’ is beyond amazing, to understand not everything in life will be ‘good’ and that’s okay
essays, art, novels, school, relationships, anyone out there starting things when they are terrified of the arbitrary metric of the result… I am so fucking proud of you, you are so brave and strong
keep starting new things, even if ‘bad’ is a possibility

guys. listen. Goro literally brings us as close as physically possible, as close as for a kiss, if you run to Yorinobu's office and don't turn back.
then, he is afraid again, realized that Saburo is back. he takes his hands away from V. crosses them. takes a step back. looks away.
he is scared.
when it was just Hanako, in the AV, he treated us like someone close, even Oda (that is clearly jealous come on) gives us a blessing as the last words to us and Goro, he addresses what everybody sees - 'Takemira, V- good luck'; even Hanako talks about us as one, You and Takemura.
but with Saburo back... he watches everything he says and does again. Saburo is the man of terror.
and then, at the end, he asks V to be careful with words. he is himself careful. when we ask
'Goro, will we meet again?'
he says a vague 'I believe we will'
and then he looks at V, he can't help it
and rushes out 'come, visit me. find me.'
for the first time, he doesn't take a step back.
I know fear, I know love, and this scene has everything.
that was the biggest rebellion in the life of Goro, a boy groomed by Arasaka since he was little, now a man, a solider,
but he also decides he can be a lover.
if V finds him.
I don't need a kiss. It is a promise of a future.
I don't need a fuck.
(but I understand your feelings anon! I would love the confirmation - yet, I'm satisfied with how much our choices matter, and that we can choose Goro after all)
Love doesn't need to scream to be loud.
Sometimes it whispers, sometimes you just have to listen.
