the witcher netflix/discworld crossover where ciri multi-dimensional jumps them to ankh-morpork and: - geralt can’t do any witchering, because we don’t hold with that kind of hate-criming here sir, vampires, werewolves and trolls are fully integrated members of society - jaskier can’t do any barding as he does not have a license from the music guild and most of his songs are about witchers anyway which is hugely problematic in a multicultural, multiracial and multivital society - yennifer can still do witch stuff except she’s too attractive and she has no hat and also does not want to be paid in old clothes. and also she can only do the boring witch stuff about healing and potions.

but also ciri all of a sudden is normal like they bring her to be visited by archchancellor ridicully and he’s like “ah yes, modifying time and space, the kind of stuff young people like ponders do this day” and she receives a surprise visit by the monks of time and. that’s it.

geralt is also so normal now. geralt gets a job at the watch and the first thing they tell him is “no killing and if someone hate crimes you vimes will go spare, remember to put both your spouses and your child on the form so they can get a pension if something happens”. he gets a headache when someone throws a bomb scent and angua gives him advice. carrot asks for someone who can see in the dark and geralt raises his hand but so do other twenty people.

jaskier and yennifer have a bit of a rougher start - jaskier has to rebuild his whole career and yennifer has to fight ankh-morpork everything because she’s more of a wizard than a witch and she does manage to bully the unseen university in giving her a licence but she does not want to wear the stupid hat - but they also are having an incredibly normal routine, and. like.

do they really need to go back?
