To answer some questions;

I will be posting links to where I’m moving the comic and my own socials. I’m not doing it yet because I am not in a good state of mind to be making choices right now.

You will know where I’m moving to when I make a choice.

I’m currently looking at Artgram and Pillowfort as viable options. I have an account in both but I am not settled yet.

Regarding Patreon, until further notice, pages will be posted there only. I will not be updating the comic here anymore until I figure out where my art is safest.

Before anyone says anything, I know there’s an option to “opt out” but that is damage control at best and plainly a placebo at worst. Tumblr made it clear that the opt out will not work with those it partners with.

If you want a tumblr look-alike site, pillowfort is a good looking one but there’s a wait list. Artgram is free and ready to use, but the layout confuses me.

I have abandoned my Twitter already, and left deviantart. I have an archive on InkBlot that may need transferral.

In summary;

Eclipse Apprentice?: will be behind paywall until further notice. All updates from here on out are Patreon only until I figure things out ideally I will move the comic to the new platform.

I posted this on my twitter (I ain’t calling it X!) but now I want to post on here as well. This is a special gift for the beautiful and talented Wishful Vixen aka @journeytomonkiekid and her amazing comic, Eclipse Apprentice. This past week she was going through a really rough time with the amount of questions that she’d been getting about her comic, to the point where it’s preventing her from continuing it. I felt so bad for her and even pissed at the ignorant followers who wouldn’t leave her alone with the same questions they’ve been asking her and even ignoring her rules and opinions. I wanted to make something special for her to cheer her up! I decided to draw and sketch some of my favorite moments of Macaque and Wan Ji in the comic including other doodles of them being cute together!!

There’s so much I wanted talk about how incredible this comic is!! Wish put so much effort and creativity into EA and she did an amazing job with her research of not just Chinese Myth/History/Culture but also studying the characters’ personalities and behaviors from LMK, especially Macaque!!! His personality and behavior were on point and exactly how I would imagine he’d react if he had ever fell in love or had someone put his well-being first before their own, which made me love him even more! As of right now, Wish is currently doing some changes to her blog and story, and although I’m not always used to change, I’ll always support her decision! Wish, if you’re seeing this, I hope you’re doing ok, I’m so sorry you had to deal with the people who aren’t giving you a lot of respect. You didn’t deserve to be treated like that. Just know you’re loved and appreciated by those who support your work and creativity and even those who see you as an inspiration! Don’t ever lose that! You deserve so much love and support and I’m so glad that Eclipse Apprentice exists! Us REAL EA fans love you so much!! ❤️❤️❤️
