Public Artax
IDEA FOR STREET ART DISTRIBUTION. (Thought of this a while ago only posting now)
You have a large collective of artists. They use money to create their own individual pieces of art that are designed for urban environments (durable and easy to install).
There then is a special event, one singular or more to follow if successful. It is essentially a gallery event where the general public as well as people in the correct circles (street art, anarchism, world development art critics blah the list goes on; they come to the gallery and pick which piece of art they like and pay only exact amount it cost to make (which would be strictly cheap). They then, as a pre stated condition of  the money binding contract, have to go and choose a public space within the city to exhibit the art, they would preferably do this on the same day. If it was fiercely organised  you could have thousands of people and therefore "littering" the streets with provoking, beautiful , cultured and colourful art.
I think this would be a fantastic community event and could make a huge impact, possibly making its way into the media. And then hopefully raise the conversation about street art and who owns our streets. As in the people, the creators.
THINK BIG!

S*p*a*r*k*s*
"We live in our own worlds. Empathy for less fortunate ones is almost impossible to experience. We live comfortable lives and we all have an idea of the power that controls us in the sense of greed. We see the images of the starving on a 2D plane, a flat screen. Those images border between reality and entertainment? Hopelessness strives through everyone in the sense of the world. We are powerless?"

I took a photo of the inside of a lens. With a 60 second exposure. The lens was a large zoom, so it captured these rings of light.

INRETROSPECT
A few weeks ago my Great Granddad, who is literally 97, gave me some old kit, including a slide and 8mm projector. The slides are beautiful, partly just because they are projected with pure light (not digitised), it gives the photograph a naturally vibrant look. So anyways, I spent a long evening in the garden on Wednesday taking some photo's with the slide projector beaming against certain things. I started to enjoy just creating little sculptures, well just placing objects such as a chair and some lights around the image. I think the photo's have a nice mix of a studio and a natural look.  Also I enjoyed the practise of taking a photo the has a photograph in it, it was a very different way of composing an image. I managed to produce quite dreamy nostalgic images, that have a slight cinematic/drive in feel. Im not entirely blown away by them, but enjoyed the process and I think would really like to do a similar thing but with moving image, maybe using my 8mm projector instead, and having moving objects and lights in the foreground. I think it could be a quite busy and crazy experience.

Recycling.
I was sticking things up in my new room, getting all feng shui, when I decided to get old photographs I had taken a while back that I didn't think much of and collaging them. I did't cut them up just placed different images on top each other and then stuck them together with blu tac. I like that these photo's have come into use.
It's cool, because I'd never thought of using those photo's again. I'd created something I liked out of something I didn't. I guess it means no material is wasted material because you can still change it using process and abstraction.

People Squares
I cropped these quite a lot to get in and personal with the characters. I tried to effect the images in a cinematic way.
