i’m really sick of the ‘male/female’ natural interest dichotomy. growing up, males are asked to go help fix cars and mow lawns etc. and females aren’t. then, as you get older, men laugh like ‘lol u don’t even know what a radiator is’ and it’s like no we weren’t socialised to ‘like’ that stuff. it’s not because we’re naturally bad at mechanics or physical labour - it’s because we were never taught. they don’t teach us as children but patronize us when, as adults, we don’t know much about it.

wonderful I got absolutely no sleep and when I tried to take a nap for 30 minutes I couldn't even do that because of fucking noises in the house keeping me awake. Why do I have to have 2 final exams today right after one another. And after tonight it's not even over, I still have a final tomorrow for chemistry which I'm likely not even going to pass. But despite that I still have to try to study my fucking ass off for it, even though my best might not be enough. All I can say is that this has been the worst, most unlucky school semester I've been through in my life. I've never been unlucky enough to get 2 awful teachers in the same semester, both in the subjects that I already tend to struggle in. I've had to teach myself every single god damn thing in both of those classes.

skyrim and animal crossing: new leaf are basically the same game. you show up in a new place and find out youre actually a really important person. you meet people of many different species. you can hold bees in your pocket
