weve all done this at some point :’)
Do you ever eat popcorn out of the palm of your own hand with such ardent desperation that you feel like both a wild horse and the gentle schoolgirl feeding it treats to gain its affection

Literally people should have a go more at the people leaning on their horses neck when going over a jump. But NONO lower legg!!!111 :’) jfc guys.
The equestrians of this website truly amaze me sometimes. On a photo of Bertram Allen and Romanov in which the horse is jumping absolutely SPECTACULARLY, the comments are only criticism of Allen’s lower leg. The horse is giving an incredible effort over a jump that I would assume is 1.60m in height and close to 2m in width, Allen’s release is in motion with the horse and Romanov has complete and total freedom of his head. It is clear in this photo as well as any video you watch of this rider/pair, the fact that Allen’s leg swings slightly over fences is of absolutely no hindrance to the horse, it’s balance or it’s ability to jump massive fences at the international level. So many young riders in North America think having George Morris textbook equitation is the most important part of riding when I truly don’t believe that is the case. When you enter the jumper ring and the jumps are of substantial size, whether your toe remains at the girth over an oxer is not a primary focus. Perhaps this is a premature assumption but many of those who criticize the equitation of high level showjumpers have not jumped or competed at a high level nor have they ridden the caliber of a horse that possesses FEI level scope. While I do believe that equitation encourages effective riding in it’s foundation, many junior/young riders in NA end up stiff and/or posing in order to look good while riding instead of striving for effectiveness. I find this especially noticeable in equitation riders starting their transition into the jumper ring as a very different and often more aggressive ride is needed as you move up in the jumper levels. Bottom line, it’s not all about how it looks.

Oh my god rainbow bit!!! Need!! I’m worried about it being on the mouthpiece though… I’m not sure what process is used to create this type of finish, and if non-toxic or if it would flake or something?? (Maybe that’s dumb I don’t know).

To file under; reasons why people need to take stable management courses and/or be taught a degree of veterinary science when they take up any equestrian sport.

Utterly gross, made me feel ill. complete violation of horses who I do not have to remind are roaming species whose hair naturally thicken in the winter.
The fact that this ‘so called’ artist makes such a big deal about not using sedation only informs of how painful this process is.
Of course included the usual myths and lies which she begins with that she “had” to clip her first horse who had cushings disease.
