Pre-Law School update!
I got my first job in the legal field today. I was accepted as a Preceptor for a 400/500 level American Common Law Systems course. The teaching fellows all put in a good word for me, ranging from “has done very well in both ACLS course” to personally vouching for me.
My LSAT is in 3 days and this was a much-needed mood booster. In all honesty, I had recently started double-thinking law school and my future career as an attorney. But this? This is exactly what I needed.

discussion classes = death
My law discussion class is ridiculous. The TAs are awful teachers, the syllabus has no useful information about assignments or deadlines, and today I got yelled at for taking a picture of the powerpoint we’re taking notes on?

Do you have any LSAT prep advice?
Retake the same practice section over and over again, the same practice exam over and over again.
I'm not kidding.

1.31.20
I took this picture a while ago. It looks so warm here. I want it to be warm again. I also want to drink wine again. This was a good day.
Working on my reading assignments for next week today. Have to figure out what to write a 20 page philosophy paper on for my jurisprudence class. Really difficult to understand what we can write our papers on, since we are still working through sources of law. I don’t have much of a philosophy background, so it’s hard to grasp what the components of a good philosophy paper are.  If anyone has any good ideas I am very open to suggestions.
Happy Friday, y’all!

“[I]f your husband comes home at 1:00 a.m. every Friday (after having left work at 5:00 p.m. the day before as usual), never reveals where he has been, won’t look you in the eye on Fridays, and puts Thursday’s shirts in the hamper bearing lipstick stains, your friends will agree that you “know” he is having an affair even if you refuse to seek confirmation.”
