Meet Rocky. Recovering wonderfully at our place after being brutally attacked by other street dogs, bleeding from head to tail and seizing. The vet said he was near death. While he's still in pain and has wounds too gory to show, within a day with us we was walking around and eating well. His face was so swollen and his eyes puffy and closed, but on his feet! Like Rocky, I told Alex and his ears perked up. Rocky?! He responds to Rocky and is such a gentle sweet dog. We're fostering him until we can find him a home, but Alex and I love him and are growing very attached. (at Art House Oaxaca)
