Rules: answer the questions and tag at least 5 other people
1. What is one small thing you did today that you’re proud of (this could be something as simple as drawing a straight line without a ruler (ooooh) or making making a smiley face with your food)
i attended a virtual webinar about scholar programs at one of the colleges i’m applying to!
2. One ill-advised study practice you do anyway
multitasking :( im always watching something while i work and it takes me so much longer but i can’t help it
3. Name any constellation. Make one up if you can’t remember any.
Cassiopeia, my dearest love of the sky
4. How’s the weather outside right now?
cloudy but still bright! it flurried yesterday morning so we’re now in the throes of winter
5. A named figure from your textbooks that you want to physically fight:
not really a textbook but we’re reading a story in German and the main character is a 17 year old named Brandon and he’s just a schmuck.

Day 2 of My Winter Studying Challenge!
❄️ 2nd December - What is your favourite thing about winter? ❄️
As you guys might have noticed from yesterday’s post I *really* love winter so I don’t know whether I can put my finger on one favourite thing! If I had to choose I’d probably say the atmosphere of winter and how it is festive but at the same time reflective
second day of rehearsal, this time with our physical scripts! the writing feels way too outdated to be from 2016 but it’s funny enough and i enjoy my character. hopefully we’ll be able to perform it safely!
today’s seltzer: no seltzer but i did have a grape propel water!
❄️12/2/2020, Day 2 of the Winter Studying Challenge- What is your favourite thing about winter?❄️
What is there NOT to love about winter???
It’s got the best scents, the best holiday flavors, the most wonderful weather, winter clothes and fashion are incredible, and just the best vibe in general. It’s my absolute favorite season.
Sidenote: Someone in line in front of me for Starbucks paid for my items and told me to have a “happy holiday” and I teared up so hard. I’m so looking forward to paying it forward and doing the same for someone else! ❤️
i can’t believe we’re all young professionals and academics and we’re still logging on to tumblr.com every single day to clown on ourselves. who let this happen
I major in linguistics but my interests are diverse! french, spanish, psych, soc, mandarin, portuguese
After graduation, what’s next?
well thats a long ways off for now lmao but i plan to do a diploma in intl relations
Are you a morning or night person?
night owl def!! its always hell to drag myself outta bed in the mornings
Front/back/middle of class?
front-middle if that makes sense? like in terms of the rows id always sit in like the second row or the third if the second is all taken up. in terms of the columns i like get one in the centre (so yeah i lowkey sit in the legit middle of the class)
Best feedback from a teacher/professor?
‘adults dont always have it together or even have a clue what theyre doing’ yhis kinda helped to humanise teachers and for me to stop putting them on this pedestal. i realised that they are just as clueless as everyone else (minus the fact that they have a lot of knowledge of their field) and they inevitably fuck up and do unkind shit, like the rest of us
Best study tips?
fuck ‘waiting for motivation’. just sit down and get it done. its not gonna be completed until ~you~ sit down and do it, regardless of whether you feel like it or not
3 fun facts:
1. i like astrology!
2. i wanted to study in france but c*vid *vomits*
3. in primary school, swimming was a timetabled subject!
