Today was the happiest day of her life!
October 1, 2017, we were all gathered together at Kent Manor Inn for the wedding. It was a Sunday. The weather is beautiful. The wedding was to start at noon. But first there’s breakfast, it’s a buffet. As a family we gathered in the sunporch to share that meal. We couldn’t hide our excitement. It was just a joy that was passed from one of us to another as we laughed and hugged. It was the happiest day of her life. She dreamed about this for three years, since she met Justin in 2014. Then all of us are rushing off in different directions to prepare ourselves for the happiest day of her life. We need our hair done, we need to be polished to perfection for that happiest day of her life. Mostly we are ready. We have brought our finest outfits chosen to coordinate with her bridal colors of lavender and sage. She never wanted a big fuss so things were pretty simple. A Sunday brunch at Kent Manor Inn with all her friends and family. They chose Justin,‘s brother, Jonathan, to be the officiant for the service. He had prepared with care the words he would say for the happiest day of her life. My room was off of the balcony so I got to witness the first glance. Enchanting! She found her dress at David’s Bridal. He had their names embroidered in his jacket with their wedding date. The service was simple and elegant performed under the gazebo with the pier and the river in the distance. Her face was radiant. It was the happiest day of her life. There was picture taking and mimosas and a fabulous breakfast brunch. all followed by dancing and celebrating the happiest day of her life.

Happy Anniversary to you in Heaven my beautiful daughter. You fought an unfair fight against GBM, a killer cancer on your brain stem. Missing you so much.
