When Kyle gets in reaching distance he doesn't stop at a hug. He goes right in for the thing he's been thinking about since the day all of that trouble started. He pulls Beth in close and plants his lips on hers in a long overdue, not at all cartoon-y, smooch.
"Hey… It’s okay. I’m not mad, I just… I got worried is all. I just… Wanted to make sure you were okay." Her nose twitches slightly and she’s holding her arms out towards him. "C’mon~ Bring it in, big guy."

Kyle took a deep breath. "I know and I'm sorry. Had a few... issues with my mom."
"By a while do you mean like five million years? ‘Cause that’s what it feels like.”

"Yeah.. guess I was a bit too... obvious about my feelings, eh?" His cheeks go bright red. "That's the one thing my mother and I have in common. We make our intentions painfully clear." He catches the hand she used to tousle in his own and intertwines their fingers together. "Hungry?"
There’s a moment where she’s panicking, as if she hadn’t said the right words. But, when he’s closing the space between them and kissing her. She’s melting into the kiss only to kiss him back. There’s a small smile on her lips when the kiss is broken and she’s grinning lightly. “I know. Wasn’t hard to.. put two and two together.” She reaches a hand up to tousle the fur on his head and grins.

There it is. That's what he was waiting for. Kyle took the few remaining steps needed to close the distance between them and leaned in, pressing a deep kiss right against Beth's lips. He closed his eyes and leaned in, wrapping his arms around her. "I love you too," He whispered once he'd finally pulled away.
And there’s that stupid grin, the one that melted her to the core. There’s a hard swallow and she’s licking over her lips. “Because… If I say the word then.. That means that it’s real and…” She’s inhaling a breath and her nose is twitching again and she’s trying to ignore it. “I.. Iloveyou.” The words come out in a rush and almost as if they were pushed together in a jumble.

He wanted to give in right then and there, tell her it was over. He'd let it go. But he couldn't do that, there was too much on the line at this point. Doing his best to ignore the look on Beth's face, Kyle took a small step forward, his lips turning up into that grin he'd been trying to fight. "What are you so afraid of?"
There’s a moment where she has to look away from him, if only to pull herself together. Inhaling a small breath she can feel her nose twitching again just as she faces him again. “You already said it! Don’t make me do it. Don’t do this to me, I’m begging you.” There’s a slight pout and she’s putting on puppy dog eyes.

"What word? I'm lost. Gimme a hint." He's fighting back a smirk. It's getting there, but wasn't there completely. Not yet.
Blue eyes narrow in the most deadliest of ways and she can feel her nose twitching as she huffs slightly. “You are a big fat liar, mister!” She’s stomping her foot down on the floor and arms are crossing over her chest. “When—When someone mentions the— THAT word. That only means ONE thing!”

"Don't do what? I'm only asking a question." He's smiling at her like he's expecting something now, his head cocked to the side, eyebrows raised. He's definitely expecting something to happen soon. "Do you not like questions? Certain questions, maybe?"
"I—Well—Yes, but that would mean someone would have to be in lo—" Words cut off and she’s piecing things together. "Oh no, Oh no no no no no! You can’t do that! Don’t do that!"

"Haven't you ever wanted to star in a fairy tale of your own, Beth?"
There’s hearts floating around them and she’s swatting at them with one of her hands. A small frown on her face as she crosses her arms over her chest. “There’s no such thing as love. Love only exists in fairy tales.”

"Well.. look around you! It's all over the place! In the air, the flowers, the clouds, the cats and dogs who get along. Everywhere you look, there's love! It's just.. waitin' to grab ya!"
"Love?" There’s a slight raise of a brow and she’s crossing one leg over the other giving him a look of confusion. "What the heck are you babbling about?"

He was grinning like a little kid, extremely proud of himself for making such a sudden move. He'd been wanting to do that since he first set foot in Tokyo. He secured his arms around her back, nodding his head. "'Course, 'course. Wouldn't dream of scaring you ever again. Sorry 'bout that." Kyle leaned forward again, this time to nuzzle his nose against hers. "I got you a little something while I was there."
She hadn’t exactly expected the kiss, it was more of a surprise than anything else. Her entire face turned red and she felt her face get hot. “You— Sneaky little thing.” She huffed slightly and nuzzled her nose against his softly. “A warning would be nice next time. Just so I’ll know you’re safe wherever you are.”

Arms opened wide, Kyle caught her just in time for the fall to not shock him. He was slowly getting used to being tackled by this one particular girl, all for good reasons. When she warned him about never leaving for that long again, he gave her a little smirk before leaning in for a big kiss on the lips. He pulled away long enough to say, "Next time... I'm all for taking someone with me."
Beth grinned widely at the sight of the familiar toon. Eyes twinkling brightly as she clasped her hands together. “YOU!” She shouted loudly, almost as if to give a warning. Mere moments later she was tackling him to the floor and hugging him tightly. “Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, leave for that long again cause I’ll be sad.”

A tap on his back gets Kyle to turn around. The man hands him the cup of ice cream, and he accepts it with a bright smile on his face. "Well then," He starts as he turns back around to face Beth. He hands her the cup and sticks a spoon in the middle of the scoops. "Would you like to go for a stroll with me, Ms.Mink?"
A small blush crept to her cheeks and her nose twitched again as she used her free hand to rub at it self consciously. “Hm?” She turned her attention back to him before smiling softly. “Did you say Strawberry ice cream?” Her eyes lit up and she grinned. “I’m sure she’d be up for it.”

"Nah, I think it's mostly you." A twinkle came to his eyes as he locked eyes with her. She was so gorgeous. "Yeah, it's definitely you." He cheeks flushed, but luckily he was manly enough to kick any signs of embarrassment out of his voice when he next spoke. "Well, you see, I know this girl who simply adores strawberry ice cream. Thought I'd give it to her as an out of the blue present." He gave her hand a small squeeze. "Think I could get her to take a walk with me in the park while she eats it?"
A small giggle and she was glancing at him again. “I do apologize, I’ve heard that I get majority of my looks from my mama so that could be the problem.” She bit back a laugh as she noticed him get weak in the knees in the most literal sense. A smile and she was holding his hand as well. “So, what brings you to the ice cream shop?” She asked softly.
