Ok I'm rereading DMATMOOBIL (obsessed, love it, I love competent!Hermione and reformed!Draco) and one thing I must say is. Draco must know how to dance properly being so bien élevé?? One of my hobbies is competitive ballroom dancing and this is like the second fanfic I've read lately where people are putting hands around waists or worse, interlocking fingers. For being so well researched it's really lacking in this one tiny area. ALSO I will say that proper ballroom frame is quite intimate - you're basically touching from right hip to mid-chest and there's a lot of. Uh. Physical Things you can sometimes feel when dancing with a man.

Although I've yet to dance with a man with a boner and the very thought makes me want to cry, it's probably good for writing smut or whatnot

i just finished DMATMOOBIL for the first time ever and i'm going INSANE. this is going to be all i think about for the foreseeable future. this is hands down the cutest, most precious fic i have ever read. their constant bickering, personal idioms, inside jokes, and their banter were PHENOMENALLY written and i was grinning like a fool and giggling like an idiot the entire time. my face literally hurts from smiling right now, i could not have imagined a more perfect ending and this was just such a pleasure to read. i know for a fact i will be returning to this fic very often, it was always hold a special place in my heart. i love it so so so much AHHHHH

Draco in the labyrinth:

Something in particular that I loved/appreciated about DMATMOOBIL is that Draco and Hermione were in their 30s.

They felt like people who had a firm sense of identity and confidence and their love was ultimately a cherry on top.

Their sense of personal meaning wasn't contingent on falling in love, but their lives were ultimately wonderfully enhanced by it.

I of course enjoy and will continue to read fanfics and fantasy novels centred around teens and characters in their 20s, but it was so refreshing to read one with older characters.

I'm also very biased because I'm 32, but hey, it feels good to feel seen!

Please suggest more great novels/stories with older characters falling in love!
