I finally buckled and got an Instant Pot (I wasn't sure if I needed ANOTHER kitchen appliance) and I 馃挆 it! I just made sweet potato leek soup in like 30 minutes. 馃尡 Sweet potatoes 馃尡 Leeks 馃尡 Homemade chicken stock 馃尡 Celeriac 馃尡 Salt, pepper, garlic powder, turmeric 馃尡Raw butter from @organicpasturesdairy 鉃栤灃鉃栤灃鉃栤灃鉃栤灃鉃栤灃鉃栤灃鉃栤灃 馃敽Saute the chopped leeks and celeriac in a couple tablespoons of butter in the Instant Pot 馃敽Add diced potatoes and broth 馃敽Season to taste 馃敽Put on the lid and set the Instant Pot manual setting to 20 minutes 馃敽Enjoy馃構

Next on the docket to kick the crap out of this wannabe cold that tried to creep up in the middle of the night- An Ayurvedic-inspired cold remedy that I got from @happynadyaz blog post on @mindbodygreen. I added green tea and freshly made, still-warm coconut milk to the recipe because I just can't get enough coconut milk in my life and I am trying to avoid a headache from not having any coffee. 馃尀Ginger 馃尀Turmeric 馃尀Cloves 馃尀Cayenne Pepper 馃尀Cinnamon 馃尀Lemon Juice 馃尀Raw Honey 馃尀Lemongrass Green Tea 馃尀Steep in warm coconut milk and hot water and enjoy because this concoction is so good. How good? Really effin' good馃槣

The countdown to Thanksgiving has begun! I have the next three days planned for Turkey Day prep and woke up with a sore throat馃 So far I've had a glass of ACV/ lemon water, gargled with saltwater, and I am alternating between taking colloidal silver and probiotics. But for breakfast I needed something packed with nutrients so I took some homemade chicken stock out of the freezer and dumped in some leftover ground beef and chicken liver saut茅 from last night and tried my hand at not-so-perfectly poaching an egg. The flavor of this soup was amazing. Probably one of my favorite things I've ever made 馃構 Now it's time for a nap!
