"Soy sauce, fresh garlic, ginger, peanut sauce, turmeric... those would be goods ones to use while cooking rice." Although those where all very basic. Nothing to fancy anyways. Besides he didn't know who much about spices that this guy could actually do.
Anyways,m basic things would be best for now.

🐾 “Spices? I’ve never used spices before well, not with rice balls…I didn’t know it needed it.” Did that mean they didn’t have enough favor right now? “What kind of spice would I use with rice?” Figuring a little cooking advice couldn’t hurt.

He did say he was only kidding- he took these worse than Moriya did. Although he did more extreme 'kiddings' with that guy. He didn't brother comment on the food further while he continued to it.
"It is actually okay. Although you need to work with more spices." Spices are the most important part of cooking after all- even he stopped viewing as cooking being completely useless compared to spices... spices where still better.

Maybe that was true, but he still liked to think his sense of smell was unique, though already it was being proven he couldn’t surpass this guy. Glancing away for a moment he figured this guy could sniff out if poison was mixed into food or other things. However, he was more curious about that mask still. Was something hidden underneath besides the rest of his face?
🐾 At first he believed what he had heard was just his imagination, but after a moment he realized his hearing was better than that. His ears pointed upward and his facial expression showed irritation. He was proud of the things he cooked, possibly a bit too proud. It was unusual to hear his food was…horrible. The word itself made his ears twitch.
"Than don’t eat it if you don’t like it…" His cheek pouted and he glanced away.

"Yes." He had an extraordinary sense of smell. It was great in fact that he could even smell when someone was lying... that was how he got a semi part time job as a human lie detector. Although it was really just on a if they needed him they called him bases. "There are many creatures that can smell better than a dog can, though."
He hardly considered impressive to be considered better than a dog.
He walked over and sat down, and looked down at the rice. He normally always carried spices with him, but that was only when he knew he was going to be out to eat. So he was unprepared this time. "I'll be the judge of that."
He didn't even take off his mask to eat, he just leaned forward enough so that it was away from his face and he could use his utensils to try some. "It's horrible."
He gave a long pause to wait and see what his reaction was before speaking again.

🐾 “Than come sit with me and we can share some.” The inu smiled warmly pushing a plate over to one side of the table. “I promise they’re good.”
