this might be a reach but i think loki's fond smile after mobius said "you're the god of mischief, right?" was bc no one ever liked that he was the god of mischief, no one ever liked that about him in fact it was the exact opposite and here mobius was, bringing it up casually and not being at all afraid of it. he likes loki's mischief, he likes every part of loki and he is happy to let him use his powers and not hide who he is, unlike what everyone wanted him to do his whole life and i think that smile might be loki realizing that mobius likes all of him and that for the first time in his life he truly has a friend

THE TIME VARIANCE AUTHORITY knows a lot about apocalypses . those moments where no matter how desperate your machinations become , not a single thing can be done to delay the inevitable every grand plan crumbles , every endeavor left fruitless . LOKI , of course , holds plenty of familiarity in regards to this selfsame subject .
( perhaps they aren't so different from dox after all . )
and it's funny . the same things tend to be reflected back again , time after time , a cycle without an end always subtly changing . there is always the ruin , there is always the desperation , there is always the mad scramble for power in a last - ditch attempt to prevent the ensuing fall .
loki grabs the soda , slender fingers popping the tab accompanied by the faint hiss of carbonation . artificiality makes this drink acrid sickly-sweet syrup doing its best to disguise the truth beneath it , and he takes one small sip .
" i don't believe i've ever been bound by what's allowed or not , mobius . "
it's that familiar way of his , the subtle tilt of the head , the faint twist of the jaw , that shows his intention to twist an insecurity into banter . still there's a soft sigh , a puff of air through his teeth , as the god settles further into the seat they've taken . an oh - so - subtle moment of relaxation . ( perhaps he appreciates the concern all the same . )
the last time they talk, b-15 had reported back that dox has employed countless of hunters at her disposal on the track of getting to sylvie. not that they've been succeeding. dox is relentless though: terrified that the world she'd known is crumbling at everyone's feet, but strong in her conviction. mobius would've admired it more if the threat of bringing more harm to anyone else isn't on the table. though then again, that always comes with any promises of war, right ?
b-15 is just as equally relentless of course, and mobius doesn't know much where d-90 stands, he seems apologetic enough to go along with their side for now. they'll get back to him if sylvie's spotted.
anyway. mobius slides loki a canned soda, and that's funny. reminds him of the first time they met ā unless even that's wrong, because from all of loki's time-slipping, it seems like he might've met loki before. a long time ago. some moment mobius can't remember, which - he's not thinking about now. ā c'mon. i know you're worried, but b-15's on it. you can take a breather, loki. you're allowed to. ā

PSA: This RP Blog is firmly Anti-AI.
There's been somebody (or some people) using anonymous messages going around certain RPC's threatening people that if they don't become less selective and write with them, they'll use their writing to feed an AI so they can write with that instead.
Not only is this weird and blatantly creepy, as people are allowed to be as selective as they please and threatening someone only looks bad on your end. Even outside of the broad debates about AI, AI generated work has no place in the RPC, a collaborative hobby between artists and writers to engage with another human being.
This blog will not engage with people who openly use AI to generate writing, graphics, or whatever the machine coughs out with stolen work. AI's are well documented to scrape different places for data. You are using stolen work. AI generated content, writing especially, goes against what the RPC stands for. End of story.
