Willow Application - Accepted

Name/Alias: Kitty Preferred Pronouns: She/her Age: 20 Time Zone: AEST Discord Name: [private] Triggers: Graphic Eye gore. Personal/About Yourself:  Hello, call me Kitty, I don’t mind either. I live in Australia and I am currently studying Film and Television at university. I love to draw and my aim is to become an animator one day, I have also been roleplaying since I was about 10 or 11. I am very passionate about the things I love.

Name: Willow Jane Liddle Age: 19 Ethnicity: British and Italian Origins: Willow was born in England and spent the first 6 years of her life there then due to being handed from relative to relative she has traveled all over the United Kingdom. Personality: Willow is very sassy and rarely holds back. Due to being sent from relative to relative she is very closed off by everyone at first and does not care how her actions and words affect other people. At first she can also seem to be uncaring however as she grows closer with a person she will slowly open up to them and will eventually become aggressively loyal. Willow is very selfish and stubborn. She is also easily bored and will light things on fire to keep herself entertained so it’s best not to let her bet to this point. When she is pushed far enough she will lose her temper, When she is angry she is like a human version of a roaring forest fire and it takes a long time for her to calm down. Backstory: Willow’s mother was an Italian woman who moved to England with her large family. She fell in love and married a British man. Her family was not happy with this and disowned her.

At the age of 6 Willow lost her family to a horrible house fire, the only thing that remained of her childhood home was a stuffed bear that she had managed to escape with and to this day she never goes anywhere without it.

After losing her family she was sent to live with an aunt however was soon taken away due to developing an obsession with fire and trying to light the cat on fire. After being taken away she was sent to a number of other relatives on her father’s side but was taken away again and again for fire related incidents. Eventually at the age of 8 she was put into an asylum.

After 4 she was released after seemingly improving and getting over her fire obsession, now 12 she was taken in by a rich family as an unpaid maid. She was treated poorly there and over time she stopped caring about other people and only worrying about herself.

On Willow’s 17th birthday she finally snaps and burns the home down, the family dies along with the other servants and Willow is found outside admiring what was once a beautiful mansion now engulfed in flames. She then finds herself back in a familiar place, the asylum.

I’m pretty cynical, but I know when to ease off with it and laugh at things. When I do things I try to stay focused, but can get pulled away by real life. I thoroughly enjoy writing and try to put my best effort forward when doing it… even when I make grammatical mistakes.

Name: Wilson Age: 32 Ethnicity: Austrian (parents immigrated to America and was raised in Massachusetts) Origins: Boston, Massachusetts, United States Personality: Having been given so much praise when he was young, Wilson is somewhat egotistical. While not the strongest of them all, he considers himself to be the smartest. In school, this got him bullied a lot, so he developed not only thick skin, but also a sharp tongue.With his knowledge in all things scientific, Wilson seeks to rationalize everything that happens around him. As such, he has a strong hatred for people who place all their faith in things that sensationalize thing he considers illogical (Religion, the super natural, magic). Yet, in that same regard, he isn’t above revising his theories when something happens that even he cannot explain.While Wilson is inherently selfish with everything that he does, he isn’t above helping people. Especially when it means that they can help him both survive and continue to do his work. Having been an indoor kid most of his life, Wilson hates animals (more specifically, insects). He only sees them being good for food or his research.While Wilson does take pride in his appearance, he does love to grow his beard out. He will get defensive if someone says something about it, or if someone questions his method of thinking or doing things.  Backstory: Being raised in the large city of Boston, Wilson was always surrounded by some of the biggest technological feats that some had never even seen yet. Be able to see so many advancements that the modern world had to offer, Wilson became enthralled with all of the latest things that came out. Even if they were simply passing fads, he had to know everything about them.

With his parents being of a sound financial state, it was easy for him to start doing experiments at a young age. With his family having a small fortune brought over with them from Austria, they were glad to see that their son was taking to a hobby that would no doubt lead to him being very successful, as it would only increase their wealth and add a good reputation to their families name.

When he started attending school, Wilson excelled and surpassed many of his peers. When it came time for science fairs and other activates of similar nature, Wilson was seen as a child prodigy that was no doubt going to change the world. Yet, inside, Wilson was feeling held back by the standardized school system. That he wasn’t reaching his full potential.

He needed to do better, and he would do so on his own. And in order to do that, he would need to break some rules. The once normal and harmless science experiments that he conducted in his room started to become darker, with him abandoning all ethics. There was even a point in time when the family cat went missing, but he swears that he knows nothing about it.

When it came time to graduate, Wilson was of course the valedictorian. With this under his belt, and a true hunger for knowledge, Wilson was accepted to Harvard University. While the first few months were fine, Wilson quickly became distant with everyone, even his own family. He was more than content with his work, wanting to unlock the secrets of the entire universe.

However, all of that was shut down when Wilson was kicked out of the University. The nature of the issue was never fully disclosed, as the university didn’t want it’s name tarnished by one estranged student, but what little is know was that it involved both live animals and scientific practices considered long outdated.

Outraged with their son, his parents told him that they didn’t want anything more to do with him. Not phased by this, Wilson simply complied and left to live on his own… but not before taking half of his parents money so that he could continue his work on his own time and guidelines.

Settling on a remote mountain in the state of New Hampshire, Wilson continued his work, this time with no one telling him what he could and could not do. He was never arrested for what he did, as animal testing was not considered a crime at the time.

Name/Alias: North Preferred Pronouns: She/her Age: 19 Time Zone: Central USA Discord Name: [private] Triggers: Snakes, incest, and hardcore abuse Personal/About Yourself: Hey! I’m North and this blog is kinda something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m a nineteen-year-old from Central United States. I’m in college and very active in the band with it. I hope to be a writer one day. My favorite character is Wendy!

Name: Gwendolyn Bridgette Carter Age: 10 Ethnicity: British Origins:  Norwich, England Personality: Wendy has always had a dark look at life. She never been a optimistic with things like the future going well or that things will ever work outs. Though she was taught to be a lady and never to speak was more of a way for her parents to hide her personality more than anything else. She knows how to be proper and sweet but that is only an act. Hence why her vocabulary is so intelligent.

Once Abigail died brought on the deep darkness truly inside her. All of her words became even more sullen and depression while her actions became more stubborn. Some would say that she had fell into sanity though it was more her not giving into hiding anymore. While she could be childish at times is hidden by her fascination for death and how she knows her own mortality. She does try her best to stay alive even if she knows she will eventually die.

Backstory: Wendy’s backstory is not a very happy one. She was born to Eleanor and Jack Carter along with her twins sister, Abigail Evelyn Carter. They were born into the upper middle class in Norwich. There father was a Doctor at the hospital and their mother a high social lady within the ring. They were born into a family with many siblings but still always stuck together. Both the girls were inseparable since birth and were raised to be the beautiful girls. They were sent to a high class private school about thirty minutes from their house. Not much was done besides being the perfect little duo though people never quite felt felt okay with them. It wasn’t until World War One when things started to turn.

Naturally their father was enlisted as a nurse for the English army along with their eldest brother, James. Seeing as their father was the only one to really care for them left the girls lost with their estranged mother. Their two elder sisters seemed to both clear off on their own to marriages or nursing while their two baby siblings were sent to live with their grandmother. The only other family they had were their uncle William who they only saw once a year. Things were just not good for them. Than tragedy struck in the worst way when on a visit from the their uncle brought the worst type of disaster. There was a giant earth quake that took Abigail’s life in the process. With their father lost within the war still and her mother no longer wanting to be with them left Wendy all alone.

Seeing as she had nothing left in her life a year later brought a chance. Wendy was forced once again to go to her school when she saw her uncle outside one day. He offered her a chance to be with her sister again which she gladly took. The next moment she was in the don’t starve world.

Application Process

Hello there everyone! We are a mini group of Don’t Starve Together roleplayers.

First and foremost: everyone who applies for our group has a fair chance. It does not matter what age an applicant is, whether they are male or female, if they have a disability, etc. As long as an applicant meets our requirements then they will be accepted into the group.

So what our requirements? Our requirements are quite simple and as follows:

1) Your application must be filled out correctly.  2) You must write in paragraph/literate format (match the length of other people’s responses).  3) You must use good grammar.  4) You must keep your character true to their personality.  5) You must be kind and willing to work with the rest of the group. 

If someone does not meet these requirements then they are rejected. These are the only reasons that a person might get rejected aside from potential inactivity. As we said, everyone has a fair chance.
