god. her annoyance is spiking and, for once, jungah has a hard time trying to conceal this ugly feeling of wanting to just get up and drop everything on the spot. because, let’s be real, she’s never been the most sporty, nor the most patient out of all. but for the sake of the greater good and her public image, she masks it beneath a playful, painful expression and mild whining that can considered adorable.
“i have no idea who decided this would be a great thing to do.” she answers, for once honestly, playful nonetheless. cameras pick up the smallest details, after all. her fingers keep trying to find ways to untie the ropes, the pout growing upon the entertainer’s plush lower lip. “perhaps we are going to be stuck here for the rest of our lives.” it’s a joke, and she makes it obvious with the tiny giggle she adds. then she pauses and takes her time, analyzing the ropes - or pretending to, at least. “perhaps there is a really simple trick behind all of this...”
@lgcjungah ~ ♪ ☆
Jinah was struggling. Not against the ropes but against her own lack of energy from laughing too hard. She felt helpless for the mere fact that the situation was too hilarious for her to deal with. Entangled in rope, attempting various strategies to transfer said rope onto a stick while trying not to pull off some next level shibari shit, Jinah huffed a stray strand of hair away from her face before looking up to Jungah. She found the female in a rather similar situation to herself which once again caused another fit of laughter to bubble past her lips.
“Jungah eonni… What is this,” she questions rhetorically, succumbing to taking a break and sitting down for a second as she attempted to follow the rope pattern instead and potentially manage to untangle herself and the rope a bit more in the process. “What being in hell ever invented this game?!”

lgcxjunghoon:
a hearty laugh leaves his lips as she mentions the pain of studying. he can’t say he disagrees, even though he went forth to go to university for 3 more years after that. “some days I even miss that,” he admits, thinking about the long hours they spent in study groups to try and cram knowledge into their brains which only resulted in anything BUT studying. they were great days, so in a way it’s a bitter sweet scene of nostalgia that lets him exhale a soft sigh.
at jungah voicing her doubts about her own value as a model, junghoon only offers her a kind and encouraging smile. “nonsense. you’ll do amazing. have I ever not been right about you succeeding in something,” he counters, hoping that his memory won’t fail him and she’ll pull out some rather stupid dare he gave her in the long years they grew up together.
he’s always been like that, the voice of reason, the rational one, the one with big goals and ambitions, always a little more hardworking than jungah herself. they are twins, but vastly different. and she supposes this is what makes their bond even more precious; the fact that she can’t find any way to argue wiht his reasoning, only jutting out a plush lower lip.
“i hate it when you’re being logical.” she replies in return, pout in her voice and limbs crossing in front of her chest, much like a child that’s been in the wrong but still insists is right. “you know, if anything, you’re going to be the one looking all dandy and fine in those uniforms. making all the girls swoon and everything.” she adds eventually, lifting nimble fingers to fix the collar of his shirt briefly.

the trainee is glad that jungah is on the same wavelength as her, in the sense of sharing the idea of going all out and making sure the fans – a weird concept that soojin has yet to be familiar with – don’t really forget who wasted their precious hours and days making them something. truth to be told, as much as the girl wants to do something extra, the laziness within her is also coming out, little by little, the more her eyes scan the pepero boxes that they still need to go through.
‘‘you’re correct on that one, i will admit,’’ soojin points out with a playful tone, head nodding softly. as much as she might not want to admit it, she shares the same thought process. ‘‘hand-written notes are a lot, truly and i’m sure most people won’t read them… and it’s not like i have the time to spare to actually write things by hand, you know? cute but laborious, not my thing,’’ perhaps if they were in another position, one where they were actually famous or something, then soojin would’ve considered doing something as lame as little notes but at this point in time, the trainee sees no reason to do that.
there’s a soft sigh that escapes her lips, index finger tapping on her upper lip as she tries to think of something. ‘‘the initials idea isn’t bad, though? maybe we can include them on the decoration! i’m pretty sure i got us some cute stickers for that…’’ her voice is mostly a whisper, hands rummaging through the twenty packs of both glittery and more basic stickers. it doesn’t take her long to find what she’s looking for, a knowing smile forming on her lips. ‘‘ah, see? should we do initials then? i really can’t think of anything else, it’s not like we can write their names, even…’’
Tumblr media
the whole initials idea seems to be the most effective one. it saves time, is easier to execute, and hardly anyone will actually remember their names, anyway. they have yet to advance in their chosen career paths, after all, still stuck at the very beginning with little exposure. “let’s do that. the stickers are pretty eye-catching, i’m sure they’ll be memorable enough.” jungah answers, eyes fixed on the near obnoxious way some of the items are sparkling and shining, borderline cheesy and tacky. anything for the attention, she thinks.
another box of pepero is slipped inside a small bag, followed by a simple little bow used to close the it and the initals of her name are pressed right to the even surface. she’s picked a glittery one for the first initial, two rather boring ones for the rest. her disinterest in making them interesting enough shows in the way she doesn’t try, seemingly at all, but jungah masks it behind a happy hum, so fake in its tune that it appears genuine by the time it resounds within her throat.
“are there any disciplines you’re looking forward to at all?” she asks, not out of interest; rather a way to defeat the lingering silence between them, and because jungah likes to appear as someone who actually cares for whoever is around her, even when, in actuality, she doesn’t. “the only part i am excited about is the esports one.” she admits easily, not bothering to hide how unsporty she is, that most of her talent lays within video games rather than anything physical.

there’s no use trying to put up a front anymore. he’s successfully managed to drag her to the audition for school uniforms. and while jungah doesn’t consider herself old, she’s unsure if she’s fitting for this concept. she does look younger than she is, so she’s been told, and junghoon never fails to mention just how photogenic she is, how she’d make it big as a model if she were to give it a try.
“honestly? i’m glad i’m out of high school. as loved as i was, the whole studying part was such a dread.” she responds, sigh in her voice, mild pout lingering on plush lower lip. she knows any arguments she will toss at him will be for naught in the end, but jungah is as stubborn as her twin, perhaps a tad more, even. “junghoonie, i don’t think the camera loves me as much as you think it does.” her way of trying to convince him this is a mistake, this is not what she’s imagined for herself to experience, and, most importantly, the fear of failure and rejection from the staff still lingers dreadfully,  too.
⇒ @lgcjungah
hands on her shoulders, the elder twin grins at his sister with the most prideful smile he could ever muster. “you look great! I knew you’d look amazing all dolled up,” he insists, complimenting her easily while admittedly he didn’t look too bad himself.
junghoon had spent long hours trying to talk jungah into signing up for this opportunity with him together. with both of them on different paths, her finally being able to advance to her desired goal and strive to be the next shining entertainer, there is little time they could spend together these days. junghoon himself wonders when he could be recognized for his talents as a producer but until then he’d not shy away from any kind of opportunity he’d be able to grasp.
“doesn’t it feel nostalgic? being back in uniforms… feels like we graduated just yesterday.”

get jinxed.
  ─── ⠀ 🌺 ⠀ ⠀ * ⠀ / ⠀   lgchajoon  ⠀ !
being particularly of the alethic type, though not one to over-exert himself; hajoon was more on the average to occasionally above on the very select few sports he truly enjoyed. unfortunately, much of his star moment used to be stolen by one of his brothers back in the day, and this left a bitter-sweet taste in his mouth whenever he had to compete with them at all. thus, when he found out neither of them had the time to play videogames, he ended up spending a lot more than he bargained for when he started out of curiosity.
“well, not anymore but i’ll admit, i was an avid player back in high school.” he laughed, a bit sheepish about it. “i’m excited to see how good this people are, and if there’s anyone who’s choice of champion is similar to what i used to play-” he commented, excitement rolling off in waves. “how about you, jungah? ever played league?” he asked, tilting his head. “i knew a few girls who would though im aware, the gamer community isn’t always the most welcoming to girls. I’m not joking when i say some of the best players i met where girls…” he trailed off, as his memory easily recalled one of which he ended up hooking up with.
the questions he asks are ironic, jungah thinks. him, out of all people, knows that she plays league of legends, knows she’s a high ranked ‘ gamer girl ‘, knows that, mayhaps, this is one of the reasons they ended up doing what they did for a night. but this is the past, and the present is all about entertaining people who are watching or listening to them. and she focuses on that. “i do play league of legends and it’s true that, unfortunatey, not everyone is very welcoming to girls. but i myself, as a diamond ranked player, can confirm that even girls are beyond good enough to be part of the top league.”
her gaze falls back to the monitors in front of them. “oh, they started with the pick and ban choices!” she announces as the first champion has been banned, followed by four more. “yasuo and yone really are the type of champs who get constantly banned now, aren’t they? unsurprising considering they are two strong brothers.” she looks back to hajoon, tilts her head to the slightest degree. “i’m sure the viewers are dying to know who used to play, though.”

-ˏˋ ISAC 2020 : LEAGUE OF LEGENDS !
fine. she failed for the most part during 50 m hurdles, and let's not talk about her nonexistent bowling skills. but this? this is her territory, her chance to dominate and show the world she isn’t as useless as she may have appeared up until now. granted, this has nothing to do with physical activities, but league of legends requires so much more than that, jungah thinks; from strategic thinking, to unbreaking willpower and even finger coordination, this game fulfills all the requirements which are so much harder than jumping over obstacles or hitting pins with a ball.
she sits on the far left from the table, as expected from the one in charge of the top lane. and it’s just as expected, for those who are aware of her favorite champion choice, that she picks a girl that is deemed as a support. perhaps surprising to some, but totally valid to jungah. soraka is a versatile character and over her years of league experience and climbing all the way up to diamond, she’s learned to utelize her to the point of being considered op.
the round begins and jungah easily slips into her gamer persona, has passion and intense focus showing in the way her gaze never strays from the screen, or how she never fails to pick up on the smallest mistakes made by the enemy team or even her own. she tries to help out where she can by roaming at the right times, gets a couple of kills on her way, too. it’s hard not to admit that she is the carry of her team, something that does fill her with a sense of pride, boosts her already large ego when it comes to any sort of pvp games.
it all comes to an end twenty-five minutes later, with a victory for her team, the symbol flashing across the screen with the familiar victorious tune. she bows, thanks everyone, and leaves the gaming area with a triumphant smile plastered all over her face. unsurprising are the friend requests she receives later on when she checks her account.

awkward meetings.
─── ⠀ 🌺 ⠀ ⠀ * ⠀ / ⠀   lgcsehoon  ⠀ !
modelling was something that turned sehoon’s attention every now and then, though admittedly not like acting did. but it was close, something that intrigued him and something he had some experience in. hearing about the new sign ups for the gig spurred his mind on a little bit, and so he decided to go for it. still stuck on the idol path, having been given the opportunity to do something else he was interested in was definitely something he would take. plus, it was an opportunity that he didn’t want to miss out on.
truthfully, the experience and opportunity was something sehoon was interested in, but the idea of wearing a school outfit was a little bit awkward and embarassing, but with auditioning for cram school season 2, he was just going to have to get use to the idea. he’s done auditions before, so sehoon isn’t so worried about the audition process. however, this process is slightly different than the usual auditions he’s done. measurements being taken, not having to act out a monologue or scene, or show his acting skills and such - it was different but it was new. and it was something that fed his interest.
he’s not spotted anybody around who’s also auditioning, but he comes by a surprise when he spots jungah make an appearance and he sighs heavily, silently. he’s had his fair share of conversations with, and honestly, he doesn’t understand people like her. and yeah, he’s a blunt person that can come off mean, and he’s use to people looking at him like a bad guy. but it is what it is, and as much as it bothers him, he decides not to change their impression of him. watching jungah walk over to him, squinting his eyes at her ever so slightly, she stops in front of him. “yeah, what a coincidence.” sehoon replies, rolling his eyes. “why are you talking to me?”
oh, stingy. although jungah hasn’t expected any other reaction from the guy she’s come to know as someone who’s rather blunt, borderline mean. scratch that - he is mean. she’s always been wondering, ever since that unfateful conversation they had days ago, just what exactly his problem is. even if his accusations about her personality being fake turn out to be correct, jungah thinks it’s hardly his problem. this isn’t his life, nor his issue, but he’s chosen to get involved with something that’s not his business at all.
while she tries her utmost best to always be liked and loved by everyone, not a single ounce of her body cares whether or not he actually likes her. still, that is hardly enough reason for the masterfully crafted mask of politeness to slip off the young entertainer’s visage. they are surrounded by watchful eyes, even if the area they are in right now appears to be empty. an audition hall is still an audition hall - business should be treated as such. unfortunately he behaves rather ... puerile, jungah thinks. as expected.
“we may end up working together, you know.” she tells him without actually looking at him, taking a seat two chairs away from him. social distance and all. “is this how you’re going to behave around me if we work together? that doesn’t throw a good light onto your working attitude. have you heard of the saying that goes - keep business matters and private matters apart from one another?” it’s not an accusatory statement, more of a little remark she casually tosses into the space between them.

say hello.
─── ⠀ 🌺 ⠀ ⠀ * ⠀ / ⠀   lgcseojin ⠀ !
Seojin would have found himself nervous had this been his first interview. One the contrary, there were more than a few under his belt by now. He sat in the makeup chair, for once allowing soft brushes and against his skin and the stifling musk of hairspray into his lungs; albeit reluctantly. They dressed him in a more appropriate attire that didn’t give him the appearance of someone overly intimidating. They all knew, himself included, that his expressions could come across as cold. However, he insisted that his leather jacket and the color black stayed.
When he walked onto the prepared set, Seojin gave a deep bow in greeting to the new face. It was somewhat awkward, as he didn’t manage to squeak out a ‘hello’ of any kind ㅡ just polite eye contact and a nod of the head. He slides back into the seat and he couldn’t help constantly adjusting himself until he felt comfortable. ( He often had trouble staying still, regardless. )
“Thankful being chosen for this opportunity.” Proper speech they insisted. Proper Seoul dialect. Of course, he didn’t particularly care about following what was considered prim and proper. They said the word so much it lost its meaning. Wasn’t the interview meant to show more of him as who he was? Ask more burning questions? His eyes traveled to the camera pointed in his direction and offered a closed lip smile. “I’m Park Seojin, vocalist and guitarist under Blacklight.”
long, black lashes blinked once, twice; he appeared to not be the very talkative type of person. fine with jungah, she thought, tucked a mental note in the back of her mind to keep the conversation flowing as much as she could. even his introduction was rather curt, revealed only the bare minimum, but she was in no position to judge. perhaps something was holding him back, or making him uncomfortable -- she didn’t know, didn’t want to find out, either. she was here for a job and this was her main focus.
a nod of her head was given to his answer, eyes briefly straying over to the camera, then back to the guitarist across of her. “you’re often praised for your versatile vocals and passion for what you’re doing,” she began, not really needing the notes she jotted down for herself. she had studied them religiously for a day, engraved them into her brain and most likely knew them by heart at this point, too. “when did you start to sing? have you had any rolemodels inspiring you throughout your journey?”
admittedly, she did think of other questions, too. a bit too daring ones, mayhaps. the staff member who’d gone over her prepared material, however, striked them off from the script, leaving jungah with the kind of inquiries most fans would be interested in -- more inspirational than possibly scandalous or awkward.

awkward meetings.
admittedly, she’s been hesitant to sign up for this gig. yes, jungah is very much obsessed with staying atop her skincare game for the perfect selcas that seldom are in need of filter; yet she’s not really considered herself to be a model before. but this is a great opportunity to put herself out there even more, gain a new experience, and accept the fact that she, indeed, has a photogenic face and a hidden talent for this.
the audition itself is nothing ceremonious: she’s trying on a couple of uniforms which teleport her mind back to old high school times, followed by having her measurements taken. she exits the room upon bidding the staff goodbye and thanking them for their time, chocolate-colored gaze falling upon an individual she recognizes instantly. ah, @lgcsehoon - the only person who’s ever dared to start an argument with her.
part of her thinks to ignore his existence - it’s what he deserves for all the nasty things he tossed at her so very casually. but her ever present need to be liked urges her steps to lead her over to the older, plush lips curving up into a smile. it’s not genuine, no. it hardly reaches her cheeks, and it’s obvious she doesn’t mean to be actually friendly. “what a coincidence that we meet again. so fast, too.” she begins, lets her glance stray from features which bring forth a flame of anger to freshly manicured nails. “i didn’t think i’d see you here.”

say hello.
her first interview opportunity has arrived and jungah isn’t unprepared. hours were spent into researching everything there is to find out about the person she’s meant to interview, about the band she’s meant to introduce to the viewers. it’s intriguing and interesting, and jungah wonders why she’s never shown interest in it before. a thought that is brief, fleeting, soon forgotten when she enters the quiet recording room. camera staff members are awaiting her arrival and she bows politely, greets them. her attention soon moves over to @lgcseojin, head bowing yet again
“it’s such a pleasure to meet you, seojinssi. my name is choi jungah.” she says, smile on full lips. a seat is taken across of him, glance falling onto the notes she’s been holding; all necessary information and questions she’s prepared for this are jotted down neatly. the man in charge of filming signals for them to start and jungah is quick to tuck a strand of stray brown hair behind her ear, charmingly regardless. it’s all about keeping up a good image. “thank you for taking your time for this interview. as you may know, viewers are immensely interested in finding out more about you and the band path. would you like to introduce yourself first?”

there wasn’t a moment spent within woobin’s company that jungah didn’t enjoy. in fact, as factitious and twisted as her personality was with those around her, she could easily tell her behavior with him specifically was anything but faked. genuine joy and care were established over the time and excitement bubbled up her chest, spilling onto soft cheeks and the curving of pillowy lips. “thank you for dropping by, woobin-ah.” she greeted him, two equally excited dogs not hesitating a single second to meet the visitor with wiggling tails and happy little barks.
“ah, don’t mind them. they’re so energetic, really. a whole handful.” a melodious titter soaked the warm timbre of her voice and she let him enter her new apartment, hues of pretty brown taking notice of the food and alcohol. “do you plan on getting us drunk tonight, huh?” she quipped, good-hearted and light, taking the plastic bag from his hold to place it on the unused kitchen counter. “i have yet to name my dogs. i just can’t find the right ones, you know. and i want the names to be special.” strands of brown, silken hair were tugged behind her ear, looking over at him and the pets surrounding him.
out of my league.
ft. @lgcjungah
Tumblr media
he couldn’t help but be a little bit jealous jungah had her own place to escape to at the end of a busy day of training. of course he loved his roommates and all the wonderful things they got up together. but he missed having a space just to himself to write, game, dance around to haru at 3 in the morning because he had a cup coffee too late into the night and he couldn’t sit down for more than two minutes—you know, normal twenty-something year old stuff.
while he adored his friend, he was really happy to finally meet her dogs that he had been hearing about. he had been excited to meet them the second he heard she’d gotten them and was so glad she’d said yes to him swinging by on a free saturday night (after he promised to finally watch one piece) as soon as he knocked on the door he heard the barks and a smile grew on his face as he waited for the door to open with a box of yangnyeom chicken and a bottle of soju. “jungah!” he exclaimed when it was finally opened, before he was attacked by dogs at his feet.

soojin is a like-minded individual; jungah is glad to have found someone who’s not excited about this event, either. sporty activities have never sparked excitement, nor does she feel the desire to end up looking like a sweaty mess in front of thousands of people present, and another million in front of the television. unfortunately there are no ways to escape the impending hours of sweat and poor results, but the entertainer does attempt to find distraction in the decoration of presents.
“hmmm.” humming sound rumbles up her throat, escapes plushy lips in form of a thought hum. “i think we should go all out, make them memorable.” she confirms her words with a nod, smile directed over to her friend momentarily. “maybe we can add like, initials of our names onto them? or little hand-written notes and sign them just so they don’t forget who gave them the present.”
the gift itself is nothing hand-made, nor special - it needs at least a little something to have it stick out from the masses of gifts other idols and trainees have been preparing. “but that also means ... a lot of work. and honestly? i’m too lazy to write something for every single bag of pepero.” there. she admitted it.
✿ ┋ arts and crafts.
loading… a gift for you, @lgcjungah !
Tumblr media
a sports festival… soojin is not that excited for this one, that’s for sure. still, the trainee had to do whatever legacy told her to, even if it meant trying to learn some random discipline like archery in order to keep her good image. soojin guesses that she should get used to this – after all, this type of events are quite common within the idol industry and this won’t be the first nor the last time she’ll be pushed to do something out of her comfort zone. ( lesson 20 of 100: it seems like soojin can never have her way ).
well, perhaps soojin is already brainstorming ways to make the experience a little better but that doesn’t really matter right now. as she eyes all the peperos that they had in front of them, the only thing on her mind is the gifts that the two girls were preparing for the fans. if they can’t bake, then some pretty bags with candy and pepero would probably satisfy.
‘‘we bought enough, right?’’ she questions the other girl, partially zoned out before she finds her focus on the little bag she had been decorating again. ‘‘should we go all out on the bags and have the prettiest gifts or should we keep it simple? all these decorations are making me want to do something… extra,’’ soojin confesses with a smile, gaze changing from her work of art to her new friend.
