reading the aftg daily posts really makes me realize how long/short the time span aftg happened over,

like on one hand, everything in aftg happening over a school year is so fast paced and crazy

but on the other hand, i'm like wait we're only at the part where neil rejects marissa and andrew is gone and they're thinking of the holiday plans, like wdym evermore hasn't happened yet?????

literally came home sunday after staying in a hotel for 5 days, got up at 6am the next day and worked, got back home today at 8pm

and now i’m packing again cause i’m leaving tmr for a hotel for 5 days

i’m also on day 8 of working 12 days in a row. so fucking tired and i have to go into nyc on wednesday

what an absolute clusterfuck of a day.

i started off by waking up an hour late, so i couldn’t visit my old job for coffee which i wanted to talk to some people there, and then hit so much traffic i was 30 mins late to opening the store for my coworker so i helped him out with opening and then drove up to the hiring event, which i was an hour later to basically.

then learned a bunch from the one HR lady, sat in on one informal interview, made my one coworkers shift development chart, and just fucked around for the rest of the day until 3pm when i learned some more stuff and then i left like 30 mins early after one of my managers was like you can always help out on the floor and bond with your coworkers and part of me was like those really aren’t my coworkers, like i probs won’t see some of those people again and i def already bonded with the manager there, ALSO got to see a coworker for i really like but haven’t seen in a while, and then the other part of me was like i could’ve been doing that instead!!!!

but tbh it was nice to get some work done, if not boring as fuck.

now i’m just chilling in my nice new hotel, smoked a cig on my balcony and now i’m going to drink my decaf coffee, take a shower, do my hair, and then pass the fuck out.

also tmr is probs my last day at my home store so i want to get them treats to thank them and all, so i gotta figure that out for tmr

things are just so interesting at my job rn, like i’m basically being treated like a store manager but at the same time i’m not lmao i xould go on about this topic but i have to be up in 3hrs so gnight

i got invited to a work conference but i just figured that i would be scheduled on the floor during those days so i just ignored the RSVP email they sent me

only to now find out from one of my managers that it’s mandatory so i just quickly RSVP’ed. i also said yes to going to both days so hopefully that’s cool with my store managers

which it’s so weird to think about now how many managers i have. like i have one that my company says i report directly to who i feel more comfortable with and she’s technically a district manager and i’m an ASM, and normally store managers report to the district managers but she is still technically my manager and was my first manager. and then i have the store i work at and my manager there. and now i’m splitting my time between two different stores so there’s that store manager as well. AND THEN i have another district manager who oversees my home store who i see often but don’t interact with too much. and then for the other store i’m splitting my time with, their district manager is my first manager. it’s like a full circle of managers and yet we are currently in our miscommunication arc lmaooo

just had a meeting with all of the store managers, district managers, and my CCO and now i’m off for the rest of the day in a state i’m not too familiar with

i’m debating whether i want to go shopping at the mall where my store is at just to get familiar with it and to spend some time but i also don’t want to walk by my store and see my coworkers lmao

but like what else would i even do around here???
