Shout out to all the artists and writers and makers on tumblr, but especially people who are a part of fandoms and EXTRA especially people who are part of the lego fandom, I see a lot of self bashing and negative self talk on all your beautiful stuff, all your gorgeous art and fantastic writing and all your badass creations. Let me give it to yah straight: you guys ROCK. You guys are so talented and wonderful and you deserve all the love and not just from everyone else, you deserve it from yourself. Don’t bash yourself. Give yourself some love. You guys are magicians, you type on the keyboard and people and ideas and universes come into existence, you put a stylus to a screen or a pencil to paper and breathe vision and life into concepts and made up things. You people who do audio speak characters into existence, giving the story width and depth and BREA(d)TH (hahaha puns), you people who gif and screencast things give us a moment trapped in eternity, one of a thousand we might have missed all strung together, you people who make head canons give some people something to hold onto throughout the day, give things dimension, like shading in line art, improving what’s there. You people who make cosplays bring fake people to fucking life.

Never ever ever doubt what you do. I know it’s tough because everything inside of you is scared and telling you to just stop, just keep it all in, telling you it’s not worth it. Tell it to shut up. You’re goddamn extraordinary. Love yourselves, you goddamn fantastic people, I don’t care if you make things you think are stupid and ridiculous; you’re adding to this world, and making it a better place (yes yes even smut and grimdark. It all has a place here believe me). You deserve it. Tell yourself you’re awesome today, because you are. Peace out groudbreakers. Let’s go do some awesome shit.
