Will a soundtrack ever be released for purchase ? I'd love to have these songs on the go!
The soundtrack is licensed from various artists, so it's not ours to sell. Luckily you can get the music from the artists themselves. There are links to the tracks on lethalleague.com.

Tumblr media
Brand new content! Check out the game on Steam here!
This update adds a new character to the Lethal roster, Dice, the cunning ping pong player. Dice wields an average ping pong paddle with such immense force and control that he’s able to deflect and give a spin to almost anything at any speed.
And there’s more! All characters can now use expressions, like NICE or BRING IT. Added to that is a character unique animation. A new mode has been added called ‘Strikers’, give it a spin by switching the 'Free For All' tab and see what that is all about. Another reason to start ballin' again is the raised XP level, going up to 33 now with new palettes and a special ball as reward.
Tumblr media
A new stage called ‘State Manufacturing Facility’ is available which has quite a different size than other stages and includes a brain-damaging track by artist Ishanna. New music can also be found in the menu with another track by Dr. Lazer. Several specific character changes have also happened, be sure to check them all out!
Changelog: Character changes +Added a new character, Dice +All characters can now use expressions with the Express action and a direction +All characters can now do a express animation +Sonata can now use her special move backwards +Raptor can now bunt out of his special +Raptor can now wallslide +Added a new aerial down angle for Candyman +Candyman’s re-candyball now has reduced hitpause *Candyballs now have a maximum speed *Candyman now fastfalls slightly faster -Candyman no longer automatically re-candyballs a candyball from a different team *Latch’s special can’t be re-aimed at the very last moment anymore and has slightly different timing Additions +Raised the maximum level to 33, with new unlockables along the way +Added Strikers mode, you can toggle Strikers mode by pressing the Free For All team toggle button. +Added the Gravity Ball as new unlockable ball + Added a new stage ‘State Manufacturing Factory’ + Added a new menu track ‘Turkish Mix’ by Doctor Lazer. + Added a new track ‘Error’ by Ishanna for the ’State Manufacturing Factory’ stage Other changes *Fixed an issue where infinite point mode would not work for team games. *Fixed an issue where aborting a game started through versus mode with teams enabled would cause the host of a game to be able to swap team palette colors instead of the regular free for all palettes. *Fixed an issue with main menu highlighting when using a mouse to navigate. *Choosing a character for a CPU player now uses the same highlighting scheme as a regular player. +You can now ready in an online lobby by pressing the start button. + You are now be able to change color by pressing a character portrait you have selected again.

DICE
Tumblr media
Introducing a newcomer to Lethal League, Dice.
Real name Hans Insel, Dice eschews the typical weapons of choice for a ping pong paddle that he wields with uncanny force. He appears distant at times, but can be intensely concentrated whenever he feels the need. As a Buddhist, Dice is known for his mental discipline and diligent physical training. Dice will arrive in an upcoming, as of yet undated update. We’re still looking for the voice of Dice and you might be able to help out. Send in an audition following these instructions before the end of the 17th of October (real soon!) and you can get a shot at having your voice featured in Lethal League!

Sprite Sheet Modding In Lethal League
Due to the graphics in the game being unencrypted, we've already seen some pretty cool character and palette edits in Lethal League. But it remains a bit tricky because of the way palettes work, so here's a snazzy guide to modifying character sprite sheets. Remember that the changes you make will only be visible locally. In other words, your online opponents won't see it. Go wild and have fun!

Launch and future plans
To start off, Lethal League had a great launch, hitting the target we had set for a month in barely half a week. There's a lively scene of players and it appears to be steadily growing. From competitive-heads wrecking rookies online in Quick Match to party-goers playing local Free For All battles. Here's a big thank you from Team Reptile for playing our game and telling your friends! There will be another stability update this week with more fixes for desyncs, crashes and usability. After that we have a content update planned with a new character among other additions. Stay tuned!

Note
It's going to be full on bit graphics right? none of that terrible anti alias poo right? Is there also going to be a two or four-pack steam bundle to give out to friends?
No anti-alias is the style we chose for this game. However, Lethal League is not a retro game, therefore, we can bend the rule. But this is limited to a select few cases of a gradient layer of fog in the background to create a necessary contrast between the gameplay and the scenery.
And yes, there will be two and four pack bundles available.

Post-EVO 2014 report
Aaaaand we're back! After an exciting week in Las Vegas, we could only wish we had brought double the setups to better accommodate the interest of tons of fans and newcomers. Even when setting up the day before the event, we got a healthy reminder of just how enthusiastic players can get as the screams of a small crowd filled the otherwise empty venue.
Tumblr media
We chose not to put chairs down to have people get a turn faster. Day 1 The first day had us busy showcasing Lethal League to the gaming press, explaining the game's in-depth techniques and getting to know our neighbors, the Starwhal and Nidhogg development teams. Catching Super Smash Bros. commentator Prog during the first rounds of the competition to tell him about our upcoming release, he asked "Is there going to be a Lethal League tournament?". Day 2 Disappointed to answer we didn't plan for any tournaments at the time, we went ahead and fixed that for the second day. We had a total of three 16-man competitions spread out over the day. The first was won by a player called Tim who quickly went back and forth from Lethal League to Killer Instinct where he also competed. Then a oft-returning player called Hazama took first place twice in a row. As the day came to an end, we met with one of our American voice actors, Carlos. Day 3 We started off the third day with an 8 team doubles tournament. Team Monster eventually won over Team Iron Storm in the final match. Monster from Team Monster went on to win the last singles tournament afterwards. The day was punctuated by a surprise visit at the Lethal League booth by the producer of Street Fighter IV, Yoshinori Ono.
Tumblr media
To finish, here's a shout-out to our new friends and fans that hanged out around with us or competed: Pikachad, Moose, Big Ben, Hazama, Tim, Monster, Rickie, Jay4Gamers1, Steve, Animefreak, Zach, Johnny, Snow, Juido, Alfredo, Monster, Carlos, the nidhogg and Starwhal teams and everyone who's name we either didn't get or wrote down! Thank you and I hope we meet again!

Note
Do the different fighting stages also play different, or do they only have a different background?
Aside from visuals, the stages play subtly different. They won't contain things like breakable walls, platforms, power-ups or stage hazards. We've found that including these kind of extras is as fun as a drunken idiot interrupting your soccer game. I wouldn't say we will never include dynamic stages, it's just that we haven't found any worthy as of yet.
The stages do differ in height and width. While this may seem meaningless, the unique hitting angles of the characters can cause slightly different patterns and timings in different stages. Small stages are also more likely to have quicker matches.
