Reason why Aralas is CANON in bookverse

This just my personal opinion, feel free to leave if disagree. I'm not going to argue, ok? 😊 So, I've read half of ROTK book from trilogy and can't stop myself from this. In chapter 9 Return of The King Legolas said; he will bring his forest home to Minas Tirith with birds that sing and trees that do not die. From this point Legolas decided he would stay in Ithilien during peacetime. HE WILL BRING THE GARDEN AND REBUILD ITHILIEN JUST FOR ARAGORN 😭

I just realized (from the map and description) HOW CLOSE MINAS TIRITH IS TO ITHILIEN 😭 We can even look up at Ithilien from rooftop of the city. If Aralas want meeting or something, there was no bother. Aragorn had only jump on his horse and going down to Ithilien and so did Legolas. There is fact rests. Something had to made Legolas make this decision. I MEAN: THERE. IS. SHOULD. BE. A. REASON. Even if just Aragorn is his reason, that's how are their relationship working.

Their relationship bond is only implied through these hints. Yes, this indeed an adventure story, about ring and its nine bodyguards. About fighting and heroic people trying defend the truth and continue to hold on hope. BUT, DEFINITELY, I'm SURE, behind that, Aralas has something, bond, friendship, love (whatever that means) and whatever is more than what is seen or what is written throughout story. Imagine, in age when the Eldar should faded and Legolas himself should have sailed to the West, but he still staying, in Middle Earth to fulfill his dream of "beautifying the earth and preserving the rest of beauty from the work of Eldar people" as long as Aragorn alive. If this is not love I dunno what is 😭😭😭
