Forgot to post, so here’s my final painting.
Note: tumblr confused me today. It made me think I didn’t post this earlier because it was showing me the post button. Then there were 2 posts. I deleted the wrong one - the earlier one with your likes and comments. Oh well. It was a fun painting day!
My A2Z Challenge ~ starting with A brands, using the oldest untrieds first 🫨starts 4/15/2024. I’m going to count my untrieds, inspired by @m4g0rtz counting her manis.
A-England Princess Sabra
My bottle had a wonky brush, so I replaced with a Cirque brush and cap (the silver cap didn’t fit). Maybe the brush is why I had not used this shade 🤷🏻♀️
🐈⬛ I read a blog post that said this polish was the color of Tristam’s eyes ~ he was the beloved A-England feline mascot for many years 🐈⬛🌈
Inspired by Tristam, I stamped this cute cat face with Creative Shop 12 and Twinkled T Vibin’
Thousand Oaks Library ~ One City One Book 2024 ~ The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi
The library hosted a henna workshop today, lead by a delightful Henna artist Afshan Kahn, owner of Henna Me Beautiful, and her lovely daughter. It was great fun to learn about henna and then create a design on my arms and fingers inspired by provided design templates.
I was inspired to create a mandala mani using CjS LC-18 Collab with Manisha M. And my Emily de Molly stamping polishes in Metallic Teal, Rose Gold and Pink Orange. My base polish is Ethereal Coffee Cloud.
I’m finally reading the very popular YA book A Crown of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I looked in my collection for polishes inspired by the book and my eyes lit up when I saw this one. The formula is superior - perfection in two easy coats.
Sharing this awesome milestone mani from @m4g0rtz as she posted mani #500 and my tribute mani https://www.tumblr.com/lesmotsdemoi/746329987643260928/christines-nail-art-therapy-tribute-mani
Today's polish is #500!!!!!!!! 🎉💃🎉💃🎉 😱🤯 This manicure reminds me of the first milestone post I made for nail polish #100. Like today, I wanted something festive so, like today, I picked a chunky glitter topper over a creme polish. I had very little experience using toppers like that and the finished manicure wasn't what I'd wanted. This manicure is what I'd wanted. Seeing how much better I've gotten at manicures like this is such a great feeling. And the reason it looks so much better is because of all of the glitter placement manis I've done for matching manis with @lesmotsdemoi. Things have been hectic as of late, but I can't wait to do more matching manis soon! ❤️ I also know I wouldn't have made it to post #500 without the encouragement of @julcheninred @phdmama @l0vegl0wsinthedark @lesmotsdemoi and everyone who likes, reblogs and comments on my posts. 💖💖💖 This is Once Upon a Time from Cirque over It's Brittany Beach from Orly.
