Sorry I just don't think celebrating anyones death is a decent thing to do. You all want compassion and empathy when it suits you but are out here literally salivating over someone dying.

I don't care care who they are, what they did etc. it's inhumane to celebrate someone's death.

We are meant to be an advanced civilisation, give it a rest.

With that story of the person buying a pregnancy test being sent formula samples in the mail getting traction recently, it needs to be pointed out that this is not new.

With my most recent pregnancy in 2020, I started receiving formula samples in the mail from Similac and Enfamil in my first trimester. My email was quickly passed between pregnancy and baby specific companies and my inbox became flooded with emails advertising countless products and services.

I was harassed by 2 cord blood storage companies after briefly browsing one of their websites. After my baby was diagnosed as terminal, I had a phone conversation with a rep who tried to convince me multiple times to store her cord blood for my future babies.

After Sam was born/died, within a week of my delivery I received a congratulations letter and offer from Gerber Life Insurance in the mail, also without my consent. I continued receiving formula coupons despite reporting her death to the companies multiple times, and even now I receive toddler formula coupons from time to time.

Amazon has tracked my purchases to the point that they know I (should) have a 19 month old and will advertise me toddler and baby things for girls, despite never having linked an AGAB to my Amazon account.

This level of capitalistic surveillance of pregnancy in the US specifically is not new and with the repeal of Roe v. Wade it should terrify you.

Wifi got shut off and rent is going to be due soon, any penny helps!

Hey! Small PSA to anyone who likes emulating console games on pc!

Don't use Citra.

Citra has had a known issue for a few years now that placing it within a custom folder instead of its default one, and then uninstalling it can result in your entire drive getting wiped clean. And sometimes even regardless of that Citra can, sometimes still uninstall things it's not supposed to. There have been cases where it deleted parts of the computer's OS when it was installed into the C: drive. Now, this isn't the developer's fault, the issue is with the 3rd party installer they use sbd they have stated they are looking into replacing it with a custom installer. And though they do say the problem only occurs when you install it into a custom drive, I would still advise against installing it in the first place until the issue is resolved for sure.

And if you do have it installed, don't uninstall it at all.

To lovely humans who were excluded from invitations, left behind when they tied their shoes, forced to walk in the grass when the sidewalk was full, spoken over when you tried to contribute, whispered about or laughed at, given side-eye when you tried to fit in…. you are so worthy of love.

I see this a lot, no one has actual names, or any reference for names, that are legit Native American, varying among the tribes, for their characters.

Babynames.com and shit like that will give you names made up by white people.

However, I’ve got your solution.

Native-Languages  is a good website to turn to for knowledge on a lot of native things, including native names. If you’re unsure about the names you’ve picked, they even have a list of made up names here!

Please don’t trust names like babynames.com for native names, they’re made up and often quite offensive to the cultures themselves.

Kaizu and I will be participating in the Etsy strike coming up from April 11th to the 18th!

Our shop will be put on vacation mode so sales will not be possible.

The Etsy strike is to protest the recent increase in fees. Etsy has announced record profits but still increased fees by 30% and have over the last few years been making the site inhospitable to small creators.

Please help support this strike by not buying anything from Etsy during the week of April 11th.
