Im not just talking about your post, im talking about how the world is right now. And im not teying to 'argue' with you. You stated your beliefs, i stated mine.

Im about to step on some peoples toes.

People shouldnt have to bend backwards to worship and support an unhealthy lifestyle. Or any lifestyle, really. We can believe different things, its part of having free will. People dont HAVE to support fat people, people dont HAVE to support skinny people, or black people, or white people, or gay people, or straight people. We arent 'copy and pasted'. We are all different and because of that we all see and interpret the world differently. You cannot 'cancel' or call someone out simply because they dont agree with you. Personally, I am not going to buy into the 'being fat is a perfectly good lifestyle' because its not. Its proven unhealthy multiple times over and its not a quality of life. I refuse to worship and support a blatant lie. And yes, i am aware that there are health conditions that have exceptions because of some peoples bodies capability, my mom is that way and so is my best friends mom. (My mom has PCOS, her mom has Lupis and MF)

My point is, get over yourself. The world does not revolve around your ideologies. Obesiety is a problem. We should not blindly worship people who say otherwise and attack people who say hard truths.

Context: my friends are dating and they (apparently) play stardew valley together as their 'thing'. Now, lets call her Laura and Him Lance. Laura was talking to me today when i mentioned the new update(i didnt know either of them played) and we got to (excitedly) talking about it and then i offered to play with her because ive had the game for a few years and have never gotten to play with somwone else.

So, i get home and text Laura that if she wanta to play that im not busy. Now, Laura tells me she absolutely just CANT play because Lance threw a fit over it (my words not hers). And im confused (and my feelings are hurt). I tell her, 'well thats great that its your thing, but you can play with other people too.' To which Lance says he wants to speak to me privately.

I text lance and tell him im not mad,im just hurt and not really following his train of thought. He tells me that although he is fully aware its selfish he cant stand the thought of Laura sharing that experience with anyone else because thats 'their thing' and that, and i qoute, "im not saying we cant 'revisit' this issue, but for now im not comfortable with her playing the game with anyone else"

To which i said, 'thats like your thing being say... driving. And then you get pissy when she dares to drive or ride in a car with anyone else.'
