kessan's landing finally nailed down the leads for this chunk of story so now this is a buddy comedy.

attalune seemed like an easy pick with all the mandalorian stuff, but he doesn't like shae vizla... on manaan i was thinking of putting a trooper in charge but havoc's too big/coordinated for this smaller scale stuff.. and obviously the actual commander is off the table for most of it. taking my knight through ruhnuk sold me on her getting a turn as the main character and then the agent run through ord mantell was too much fun to pass up.

sorting the full storyline out will wait til it's done, of course, but in the meantime i get to laugh about sticking these two together.

This quote from Kaliyo, as well as her interaction with the girl on Zakuul, have made me wonder why Arcann keeps his scars, especially as Emperor. He had the resources once on the throne to go to a droid to get them removed. So then, is it a mark of pride, shame, both or something else entirely.

For pride? I don't think it makes much sense that it would be the reason he kept them. He was known to be a ruthless fighter. The way he acquired those scars on Korriban would be physical proof he was bested by the enemy.

For shame? I believe this might be a strong motivation for not only keeping the scars but also hiding them with the mask. It is a way he could be punishing himself, a reminder of his shortcomings and the actions he's done.

To differentiate himself from Thexan? They were close. Identical twins. Arcann was time and time again compared to Thexan. Despite the fact they wore different color themes, they obviously had different temperaments, and they both excelled in different ways; they were always held up to the others standard. The scarring was something that made him stand out, something that disfigured his face enough that when he looked in the mirror, it wasn't like his brother was looking back at him. I imagine keeping the scars for that reason of not wanting to see Thexan in the mirror, especially after he killed him, is a big reason he won't get rid of the scars. Even if you redeem him, he doesn't want to have the same face as Thexan. It's just another reminder of who could've still been here had he not let his rage fester.

Plug your computer into a TV

Tried SWTOR last night--it was really fun! But I felt like I was gonna hurl after playing for an hour.

Is it available on any standard game platforms so I can play it on the TV? The larger distance from the screen helps me with motion sickness.

Clan Lok Hidden Chain connections don't get mentioned at all

Been playing through Kotfe on my Bounty Hunter and I noticed a few instances where my character was referred to as an outsider despite being Mandalorian and while I get they couldn't rerecord every line just for one class it would've been easier to just refer to them as the Outlander. This also makes me worry that despite the Bounty Hunter's old clan being part of the Hidden Chain this won't be acknowledged when I get to that arc.
