I did a little comparing to pictures we have of the house and theres a few parts im confused about and id love your guys' input.

these parts match..

note the chair and the cupboard door in the background.

it looks like the kitchen could be on the bottom floor of the house, as the exterior photos dont show much of the bottom floor, hidden behind the hedge but the first floor exterior, we can see an additional window which the kitchen photos dont have.

these are doors to the garden. thanks to all that helped identify these doors for me.

For Taylor's London Home, do you know what the metal plates on Taylor's house are called? or do they have purpose? I don't think its common but idk. It makes me think the house was designed with disabilities in mind but I'm just saying

I have been told in past discussions on the subject they are called push plates. I am unsure of exactly how common they are in houses over there and I don’t believe they have anything to do with disabilities.

Here is what i know about Taylor’s london rental property.

i found conflicting information for the number of bedrooms and bathrooms the house has depending on which website you use but i used the most recent information i could find.

The property contains 2 separate but still linked residences, the main house has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and the cottage or smaller house, for visitors or staff, has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Originally, it was 3 seperate residences but it seems like the studio apartment was subsequently turned into a gym located underneath the house, however it still maintains its own seperate external stair access and its own bath and kitchen.

For privacy reasons, Taylor obviously rents the entire property when she spends time in London so the entire property has:

10 bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms with access to the master suite via the main staircase of the house and a private staircase if need be.

5 reception rooms

3 kitchens

A cocktail bar room, a media room and a heated outdoor swimming pool.

It was sold in 1992 for $980,000 to a woman who is known for purchasing and renovating historic houses. She listed the house in 2015 for $14,000,000- $18,950,000 and as far as i can tell she never sold it so it appears she currently rents the 2 homes seperately or they can be rented as a whole for approximately £150,000pcm.

April 2020 update- the house is still for sale, since early-2019, the current listing is here:

The house Taylor once rented in London is currently on the market for $15,995,000.

We have seen this house in the Reputation magazines as well as photos posted on instagram from a NYE party she hosted there, as well as in an instagram story, the first time we see her singing CIWYW acoustically on the living room floor of the house.

I know you won’t answer this ask but… don’t you feel bad for doing this? For following Taylor’s plane and posting info where she can be and for posting SO MUCH info about her houses like many of us had no idea where she lives in London but then you posted it and all of sudden everyone knew. She values her privacy so much and I’m not even saying that bec I am crazy Swiftie or sth but she has SO MANY stalkers. Some of them are dangerous. How can you know that any of them isn’t following you and isn’t checking where she could be on your blog? Are you so obsessed with her that you literally have to analyse her every move and decode in which house she is? You’re putting her life at risk and I hope that one day you’ll realise how fucked up it is

but they don’t need me to do any of that. they could do it themselves if they chose to. it’s all already available on the internet, on a million different blogs and websites like tmz, daily mail (who gave me the london house), nypost, dirt.com etc not to mention tumblr, youtube, instagram and tik tok. out there for anyone to see, any single person, in the world could get ahold of that information, without me, without my help, if they truly wanted to. I just choose to post that information on tumblr, that’s all.

aside from this, every single week, I see pictures of people happily standing and posing in front of her houses in nyc, rhode island, her nyc rental in which now, has absolutely nothing to do with taylor and where someone else now lives and people run their business out of and even Andreas house in nashville and proudly posting those pictures on instagram or tik tok and they think nothing of tagging taylor in these photos. i’m not saying that you can’t have a problem with me, that’s fine. but those are the people you should also have a problem with, go yell at them too.

I am sorry if this upsets you but I want to make this clear, I am not going anywhere and I still have both my real estate blogs in addition to this one and while on a smaller scale, I will continue to post the jet stuff.

Hi I've loved seeing more of Taylor's houses, mainly her interior design style, through your blogs! I have such a dream of just having a tour of one of her homes (mainly the MGM mansion or Holiday House in RI bc of the history). I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if many years in the future maybe after her lifetime they turn one of her homes into a kind of museum or something? kind of like elvis' graceland. I think the RI house would be perfect for that or maybe her parents house in nashville.

I think RI would be perfect for that, that way they could tell the story of both rebekah and taylor together.

LA would also work especially since it is a landmark, it’s beautiful and interesting and perfect for her, i love that she made it her own but i wish she at the very least kept the screening room in the house because i don’t think she did as a nod to Samuel Goldwyn because i wonder how much of the history or special features she recognises in her LA house the same way she does with RI. i guess she has more in common with Rebekah than Samuel lol but if your talking about a house based solely on her history and not the people who had the house before her, than LA could still work too.

2022 update: more pictures from the house, that is doms dog. and it’s so cute! 😍 further proof they probably aren’t staying there anymore and have a new place, either rented or bought im not sure.

Hello! Do we know whether t&j still rent the Belsize London property? I remember reading something about the contract expiring or smth like that?

no like we’ve mentioned previously, the owners, dom and his partner, are back there living in it now and they just posted more photos on instagram only an hour ago of the living room. whether they rent it again in the future who knows or they’ve bought a place, but right now, they (taylor and joe) are not there.
