If that thing had said it came from beyond the universe, I'd believe it. But before the universe? Impossible. Doesn't fit my rule. Still, that's why I keep travelling. To be proved wrong.
Authors Note: I haven't written in such a long time. Its taken me 2 years to get back to this and i have missed it so much! I'm a little rusty so if it sucks I'm so sorry.
“That rain is really coming down,” Abe shouted from the living room as Y\N paced back and forth in the kitchen. “You know, I really miss when the tv news stations would give us warnings about tornadoes” she shouted towards the tv they had set up in the living room, set up as a reminder of their past lives that now seem so long ago.
Abe chuckled at her, “there isn't going to be a tornado, it's just a little rain storm. Don't you think there would be hail if a tornado was coming?” Y\N crossed the room to look out the front window to inspect the storm. “Oh look...hail” she replied sarcastically.
“It will be fine, the storm will pass and everything will be okay in the morning.” he told her as he pulled Y\N away from the window and held her hands in his. “Lets go get you two in bed.”
Y\N wanted to argue and put up a fight but her body just wouldn't let her, before she could protest her feet were dragging her towards the stairs. These past 8 months have not been easy on her or the little one she was carrying. Between fighting The Saviors, Negan taking D and finally taking down The Saviors, it has been a long stressful time. Yes, Negan's group has been taken out, but now Negan was being held in the makeshift jail in Carol’s basement and that wasn't exactly giving Y\N any relief.
Abe walked behind her as she waddled up the stairs to their bedroom. “Your waddle has gotten better, a few more weeks and you'll be a professional duck.” Abraham joked, making himself chuckle. “Ha ha,” Y\N sarcastically laughed, “keep up your jokes and you won't be seeing this duck naked for a very long time.” She replied to her now quiet love of her life.
“Oh come on, you know I'm just joking. I love your waddle, I think it's sexy.” He whispered in her ear as he wrapped his arm around her growing belly. Y/N squeezed his arms then pushed off of him towards the bed. “Yeah, this is so sexy.” she rolled her eyes as she gestured her hands around her belly.
Abraham frowned, making his eyebrows furrow. “All of this” he mimicked her gestures, “is sexy to me. And don't even try to roll your eyes at me. You are absolutely beautiful, and carrying our child in there,” he pointed to her belly, “ makes you even more beautiful.”
Y\N kicked her slippers off before sitting on the unmade bed. She pulled up her oversized shirt and looked down at the red marks stretched across her stomach. “But these…” she trailed off not wanting to look up to meet Abraham’s eyes.
“Those are beautiful.” Abraham replied, placing a finger under Y/N’s chin to lift it up and meet his gaze. “Those are the first drawings our child has ever made for you. They are like your own personal art exhibit right there on your body.” Abraham leaned down and placed his lips on hers.
Y/N leaned into his kiss, and smiled against his lips. She knew he was right, but she was not going to let him know that. Abraham stood up, pulling Y/N up with him in the process. He tangled his hands in her hair as she ran her hands over his chest. As the kiss began to become more passionate, Y/N felt something trickling down her leg. Before she had time to react, the trickle turned into a waterfall and a loud splash hit the floor.
“Honey, what was that?” Abe asked, stepping back to examine the pool of liquid on the floor between them.
