he’s all set, couch ready, soft drinks on the table, bags and bags of chips placed (sort of) nicely and a box of tissues just in case. kids call it ‘netflix & chill’ but taeyong prefers, ‘anime & cry’. the pick for tonight? sailor moon.
taeyong’s a big fan of tuxedo mask –– that isn’t really a secret. and despite how he carries himself and his outward appearance he enjoys the anime ( “it reminds me of youth!!” he’d say whenever questioned about it. )
so he sits by the couch and pulls out his phone, ringing up his friend for the night. “jaeyoon!” he finally says when the other line connects. “where are you?” he asks and he doesn’t want too sound too desperate or whiny because above all taeyong is a teenage (?) boy and he still wants to sound as cool as possible. “the sailor scouts can’t wait forever,” but he’s never been too good at sounding cool in front of close friends. “are you still getting dressed? i’m sure you look great ––”
