This is probably going to sound mean, but I'm convinced that the people who think Auston and Mitch no longer like each other after getting tense on the bench have never had actual friendships.
Do you really think that after this many years of being friends and playing together that they have:
A) Never gotten frustrated with each other before tonight
and/or
B) Are just going to stop talking to each other now because they got frustrated for 15 seconds?

do you know what’s maddening? charles can pull a miracle and put it on pole tomorrow, but unlike his teammate, he won’t be praised for it. it will be added to these silly fabricated negative statistics. he won’t be celebrated, he will once again be called a quali merchant who cracks under pressure. i’m not saying carlos doesn’t deserve the praise, he’s been driving well, but he’s being celebrated like some kind of hero. the double standards are crazy and it’s all getting out of hand.
