of course he was alive. of course he was fucking here - because.. if anyone deserved a second chance, it was tony fucking stark. ah! shame’s on him, though. this time, quentin hadn’t been ignored and he too had been brought back in some way .. how that had happened, however, he couldn’t be sure. he couldn’t be sure, he didn’t care and now, here he was, having to face tony stark again. not the way he wanted to start his day, that was for sure.  “it’s not like anyone actually cares, boss.” he snapped, before side-eyeing the other. if there was anything good tony had done for him, it was stay dead and now.. here he was, ready to steal the spotlight and ruin quentin’s life. again! “didn’t you steal all the spotlight by dying and saving the world? go back to whatever hole you crawled out of, stark. it’s my turn now.” and no one - no one in the world was taking that away from him. no, he had suffered enough humiliations at tony stark’s hands, followed by peter parker’s and.. now, now, it was his time to shine. no one was getting in quentin’s way, not this time.

      “okay so… if it’s my birthday am i fifty-four or forty-nine now?” tony asked, turning to the poor unsuspecting person of his existential age crisis. “because here it’s twenty-nineteen and that would make me forty-nine, but when i died i was fifty-three and i thought i was fifty-three here, but now that i remember should i really be forty-nine. but then again, morgan’s still four going on five. but also it’s twenty-nineteen… or is it a magical i’m forever fifty-three because that’s what’s on my death certificate?”

( fishbowl helmets, red cape, illusions ) –– && it looks like quentin beck/mysterio has finally arrived in woodshore ( though he originates from marvel). although known as a CON-ARTIST back home, here they are a 35 year old engineer, known to be INTELLIGENT, but DERANGED. they were coaxed here with the promise of REVENGE ON PETER PARKER. They remember DYING IN LONDON.

from what point in your characters canon are they taken from?

he’s taken from right after the moment he died in london - after being accidentally shot by one of the drones and dying in front of peter parker.

what are the basics of their ‘new lives’?

quentin’s life is pretty much the same as it was before - he was a failed engineer, who was fired by his former boss after going a little bit insane after his boss taking his former project from him and naming it his own. after that, he started working on his own as an engineer, hoping to one day build something grand that would make him more famous than his former boss.  he lost his wife and child in a car accident and ever since, he’s been on his own.   he feels terrible about it and believes it was his fault but.. quentin has come to realize that he can do nothing about it but move on. it hurts, it does, but.. he knows he has to do it. 

what were they promised upon arrival in woodshore, and what was their reaction to receiving it?

  he was promised revenge on peter parker -  obviously, at the moment, he didn’t know who that was, but.. he always felt like he need revenge on anyone, no matter who it was.

when they arrived in woodshore and received what was taken of them, did they gain any memories of their past? if so, what memories do they have?

  he has all of his memories now - up until the moment he died at peter parker’s feet. mysterio is angry about it - yes, but.. he always believed he would eventually lose his life on the path to revenge and he was alright with it, considering he had nothing else left for him and he had a backup plan - which was revealing peter parker’s identity to the world.
