it seems like everything they call growing up has to jerk your guts out and just about wreck you and i’ve never been able to understand why that’s supposed to be good for you.
it just sounded dumb to me.
which made what happened a lot harder to live with, i can tell you.
sometimes it would be nice if life just kept happening the way it’s happening, if things got to a good place and just stayed there, didn’t change.
they have to try or it was all for nothing, and nobody likes to do something all for nothing.
this place gives me the creeps.
it’s dumber than falling in love and freezing your ears until the lobes almost fall off.
i think it’s sad. that’s what i think.
always ask the second question. don’t just ask why, but why why?

Head.Canon --- Jigen VS. Naruto
Jigen bought this boy off from an abusive father and called Kawaki his own. He’s experimented on the boy knowing full well there was a chance he could die to obtain a certain power. Kawaki was always A F R A I D, it never matter what situation he was put in. He was never told about K A R M A, he just went along with the punches in order to figure out how it worked. He was N E V E R told by Jigen that it could be a means as a portal for that man to come through. Fighting with the members of Kara he was most terrified of D E L T A. She’d throw punches ruthlessly --- even if he could easily be healed, he was her punching bag for when she threw hissy fits and not getting her way. Garo: He was just an asshole that liked blowing him up. Kashin: More of a bodyguard --- he would watch Kawaki progress but would not take part in what the others called T R A I N I N G him. Why ? Even to this day he doesn’t really understand. Kawaki just knows he can sort of trust Kashin.
Would Kawaki E V E R go back to Kara? Not a chance in hell. Jigen is a manipulator, he knows Kawaki doesn’t trust a lot of people and he’ll use that against the boy for his own merit. There is one person he D O E S trust fully and that’s N A R U T O. The fact that the Hokage can pull out an inner strength Kawaki never knew about says a lot. His hackles will raise if he senses disrespect towards Naruto, it doesn’t matter who it is. That man showed Kawaki what P R O T E C T I O N is. He gave him a H U G and a H O M E. Kawaki will do anything to protect everyone in that house.

He didn’t trust ANYONE but that blonde idiot. Actually, tolerate would be a better word until that trust was gained. The boy did TRUST the Seventh. Maybe. His mind began rattling --- frustration welling, his eyes squinted. Overthinking situations always led him down a dangerous path. Trusting others...why should he trust other people ? Why should he trust this other boy here in front of him ? He looked just like that man in the hospital after he tried escaping through the window to flee. That man didn’t trust him at all.
